I've got my SS to a good basic build. He has the speed, agility and vision to make plays, and the tackling to wrap up ball carriers. But now I want to either pump up his strength and boost his hard-hitting SAs, or get his jumping up and pump his coverage SAs.

What's your experience with SS? Do you find it easier to get them to get interceptions or force fumbles?

SS tend to be run stoppers.

Coverage SA's help you against runs too. The hard hitter route doesn't work because on a good defense you should only be making 1-2 tackles per game, but you'll be covering some eligible receiver on every passing play. Spending points on SA's that only help you on 2 plays per game is retarded, especially considering half your time on the field is going to be covering a receiver/TE.

SPs to be a fumble forcer, SAs into coverage tree.

yeah dravz that's been my experience. all those extra "hard hitting" SAs don't really pay off. pump points into the coverage tree if you want to get to the plays more often, and simply that should give you more opportunities for a fumble/int. also i've heard high vision correlates to interceptions for some reason
