Saint Paul Vulcans vs Buffalo Chips

The Chips go to "Fire and Brimstone" Field as slight underdogs in Game 1. The Vulcans are coming off of a great Season 3 where they surprised many team with there offensive and defensive prowess, don't expect them to sneak up on opponents like last year. The Chips are one of the more improved teams this year. Led by QB Daedalus Finch look for the Chips to go to the air often...with how much success, we'll see. Look for the Vulcans defense to hold in this close battle.

Crescent City Saints vs Ole Miss Rebels

This match up reminds me of a book I once read...The Tale of Two Cities. The Saints who have been poised to win and win big, but could never put everything together and in the end falls short...again, again and again. The Rebels who are lead by Owner UMgoula13 has been at the bottom and is starting to see some daylight. The Rebels were ounce trampled on but look for that to change. Hard work does pay off, and The Rebels go marching into the Saints back yard and win this one.

New Orleans Night Trippers vs Awesomeville Bearphins

The Trippers come into Bearphin Field looking to pull off an upset....well, they must be "trippin". A-Ville led by the strong arm of Awesome Lee and a revamped line should end this one quick. The Bearphins are looking for another shot at the Eastern Championship and their quest starts today.

I let my 4 year old daughter pick this one..here is what she had to say, "Mommy, why does that team have so many little numbers and the other one big numbers." and I say, "well honey those numbers are how good their players are...the bigger the number, the better the player." she says "OH....well that yellow team is going to lose bad!" Couldn't of said it better myself! This one is over before it starts, Outbreak 62 Hezbollah 0

Tampa Bay Krakens vs Sheffield Sabres

Look for the Krakens to have a good year and be right in the mix for the playoffs this season. Look for the Sabres to be in the toilet for some seasons to come. The Sabres are going to get shipwrecked at Shipwreck Field and it should be over early. Look for QB Jimmy Gunn to go over 400 yards today.

New Jersey Falcoons vs Philadephia Pigeons

I believe this game will be pretty close, the Falcoons are outmatched at several key positions but have home field advantage on their side. The Falcoons are a capable team and will have their best season yet but its going to be a long day against the playoff bound Pigeons. Look for the Pigeons to drop bombs all day...including on the Jersey natives vehicles.

***Game of the week***
Bonita Beef Supreme vs 10-Yard Fight

This game should be very close and very good all the way through. The 10-Yard Fight have turned things around and are looking forward to their best year yet. Bonita Beef Supreme has home field advantage but I don't believe it will be enough. Look for this one to possibly go into overtime, but in the end 10-Yard Fight's smothering defense will save the day.

Hahaha, I'm with you on that. Seems someone from the Bearphins had to step up and do something else to make the league better.
