Warrior General Games

After promoting 2 of the staples of the league this year, we welcome a few new teams to the league as we bid our farewell to the Isotopes of Albuquerque, and the Avengers of Arlington. Joining us this season in the West: Colorado Ice, and Rainham Raiders, and in the East, Columbus Bulldogs and the South Bend Leprechauns. What will be the story of the year this season? Last season the Midgets had high expectations but in the end they failed to make the playoffs, in the West we've lost a playoff team in the Bulldogs. Who pulls out the 8 seed this season? Last season didn't disappoint, and it came down to the last game of the season and three tie breaks to decide the 8 seed, lets hope this season is the same.

West: Panther Hollow still looks dominant, Guadalajara and Death Valley will probably win 12+ again, and the muddled middle will be a few teams deeper this season, with Whitehall and Texas Shaggy fielding potential playoff teams.

Ice (0-0) @ Ponkos(0-0): The Ponkos under Larry, are looking for some revenge after last seasons disappointing finish, losing to the Isotopes in the West championship. The Ice relegated to the league is just what they need to get the show on the road, in preparation for a tough Packers team next game.

Birds (0-0) @ Scorpions(0-0):The Scorpions were one of the toughest teams to score on last season, and this game isn't any different, the Birds will struggle, though they have made drastic improvements over last seasons team.

Illegal Aliens(0-0) @ Vipers(0-0):Death Valley has a few games to get their teams rolling before a rematch with Austin who handed them their first loss last year, look for Crocodile and crew to dominate here, handedly.

Packers(0-0) @ Gladiators(0-0): One of the big games to watch this week, 2 playoff teams from season 3. Austin is severely over matched in levels this week, but the Gladiators know how good the Packers game plan watching the Packers roll to a 13-3 record last year and a 3 seed in the playoffs.

Bombers(0-0) @ Rampage(0-0): Birmingham's disappointed with last seasons finish, missing the playoffs narrowly and hope to improve on last years 7-9 record, but Manhattan wasn't far off themselves. One of these teams is likely to make the playoffs this season, after Albuquerque and Sac exited the league.

Nanananas(0-0) @ Twisters(0-0):Bakersfield looks to get the ball rolling fast again this season, but keep it going this time, Drawing what many think is and under performing OKC team. Oklahoma rarely got blown out last season and with a few bounces the other way, they were easily a playoff team. Lets see if they can get those bounces this season.

Lightning(0-0) @ War Eagles (0-0):Whitehall ended their huge losing streak last season in week 15, and it doesnt look like they are going to start a big streak like that anytime soon, but drawing the again soon playoff bound Omaha Lightning, they hope to start at least the first game of a losing streak. The War Eagles like the Bevos are a vastly improved team this year.

Raiders(0-0) @ Shaggy Bevos(0-0): Shaggy gets a game to start the season, how they ended last year, winning. Shaggy may be the most improved team this year, building a solid team after mid season purchase last season. This one could get a little ugly, as Texas has the depth that Rainham doesnt.

East: Theres no telling how interesting this season is going to be, every team has improved, from the Steel Riders to the Bears...Theres only one thing for sure, when the powers meet it'll be a treat for everyone. Pittsburgh, Miami, Brooklyn, Jacktown, Iowa, Chicago,Enghave, Midgets, Cybermagination? Who is it going to be this season? Who's going to disappoint us? Only time will tell. Lets hope theres no colossal collapse like the Midgets this season.

Steel Riders(0-0) @ Hogeyes (0-0):Pit's draw of the Hogeyes could be exactly what they need, with new coords, this is a true test for them out of the gates, Iowa would love nothing more to start Pit off with a loss, after watching them roll to long streaks in the past 2 seasons. Will the addition of Oline players and a featured roll for Brownie be what the Steel Riders need to finally take the league? Can Iowa get back to season 2 form and pull off 12+ wins? Its going to be a tough one to start here for both teams.

Leprechauns(0-0) @ Thunderhawks(0-0): South Bend's first game comes against a hot team, winning all 4 scrimmages last season after beating the Midgets and Gangstas, are looking to push for an 8 seed this season, it wont be an easy road but it should get off on the right foot in game one.

Dirty Cheetahs(0-0)@ Bulldogs(0-0):Columbus gets the game they need to fit in here in BBB #11 the first week, a rebuilding Detroit team wont even put up a fight here.

Gangstas(0-0) @Bomb Squad(0-0):Brooklyn looks to replicate last seasons results where they dominated Jacktown, behind Mr. Heisman's 5 TDs. Can the Gangstas find a way to stop this high powered offense and bring them back to the ground, tune in, this looks to be an important game come playoffs time.

Carnage(0-0) @ Dreams(0-0): After Cybermagination's late push last season, they barely missed the playoffs, this season with a game against the Carnage they look to get off to a quicker start, the question is, can they put up a few wins against teams they didn't beat last year?

Mountaineers(0-0) @ Evolution(0-0): After a surprising 10 wins last season,the Evolution look to improve on that. This season they need to prove they can hang with the big boys of the league,after losing to all playoff teams except Iowa last season. Marquette's defeat of the Midgets last season proves they can play with teams that are better than them, this will be a good test for an improved team.

Midgets (0-0) @ Hurricanes(0-0):What better way to find out if the Midgets are a legit team again this season, has Cleveland turned around his struggling team? Miami looks to show the rest of the league why they are a preseason favorite in this battle. Miami hung 34 on them last year, i think it's a little closer this time.

Storm (0-0) @ Bears (0-0): Boston is vastly improved this season, pulling off an overall bar of 39 after winning 2 games last season, jp has brought a few of his own players in to complete the team. Chicago never allowed more than 30 points last season in a game and pulled off the upset of Pittsburgh in the playoffs,after an upset of the Hurricanes, eventually losing to the BBB #11 East champions Arlington Avengers by 1 point. This has to be a preseason favorite of people, and they wont disappoint anyone, though its probably closer than im calling.

God the first predictions of the season are always so hard. I bet i go like 7-9.

I think the Midgets is a developmental/experimental team for the Detroit Destroyers. Kinda like minor leagues in baseball.

2 games that stand out in the East can Iowa or Jacktown pull of an upset ???

always fun to see who has improved, Boston did a total 360 in the offseason and look like a real solid squad this year.
