I beg to differ, he looked fine in the scrimmage game against us. I've sent the team secretary over with a box of tissues compliments of the Warbirds.

These new setting have me all f'd. Got the WR rotation down now. Good luck to all this year. Just had to vent a little bit.

i liked the old ways... now there are sooo many options...

defensive scheming is good but it's difficult just to gameplan on percentages and inputs and outputs... rather than calling plays as a game goes on...

I like the new ways, I love options

I'm very interested to see what teams have coords that actually know what they are doing and know football, and which ones have been sliding by because it was way too easy in the past.

Now good teams with good coaches will stand out, which is how it should have been from the start.

Also knowing how effective real-life gameplans would work with the simulation game...

What will stand out are math and logic people, no nessiarily football people.

Default says on 3rd and Long, you pass long. Chances are you opponent also has the default to cover long on the defense. Therefore logic/math guy makes a calculated guess by putting a percent to run, catching the defense in a dime with bunches of CBs on the field, along with the tackling problem, less interceptions and more first down should occur.

The bad side of the new AI, if you don't check and double check, you could really screw your self by not catching a flaw in the new logic you put down. I actually saw a goalline defense called during a 5 receiver set on the offense. You can guess how that turned out.

I like the new settings, just not very happy with the performance. Seems the sim engine is a little faulty and a few to many bugs to rely on your settings working correctly.

Game planning relies on football knowledge though, and is the funnest part IMO

The staff will have to win games this season by game planning, which was not really the case last season and before. The worst team here could win every game this season if they game plan correctly. While game planning has always been a factor now it is HUGE! Until everyone gets the playbook down, then they will add more options. Player builds of course will matter but just not as much as last season

Is everyone using the new playbook?

Performance isn't good like minn said, there are still a couple bugs apparently

Its hard to know what the bugs actually are and what is different just off the season changes

I don't know what is going to be fixed and whats going to stay the same so player builds are more difficult

I can't wait to see what the BBB5 is ranked overall once the season starts. Seems several teams got a lot better in the off season.

game planning is a poker game. its guessing what your opponent is going to do vs what he expects you to do.

It would be different if you had adjustments to make in game, but lord, that would be complicated to set up.

Really, if you gameplan too solidly one way or the other, its like flipping a coin.

Think about how different what you told the gameplan to do last year was from what it actually did. Why would it listen better when theres 18000 things for it to consider?
