We have 20 skill points to work with, and with the obvious attributes maxed, its time to either buckle uand take the big hits, or nuance the players with secondary abilities.

Areas of concern are:
1. consistency - boots 50 yarders and then shanks a few 25ers
2. out kicking coverage
3. control - would like to pin opponents deep but keep getting touch backs)

Any advice would be welcome, but especially from similar or higher level punters.

okay, this might seem easy, but you should IMO get STR to the soft cap! some pts in speed to get it to your AGI-level might be worth considering too.

If you're shanking punts with 90Punting and near max Special Abilities, then I doubt adding to Punting or maxing SA will help. :/

Personally, I'd max Strength.

Train Speed/Jumping/Stamina. (Last season, Bort claimed Speed/Jumping/Agility helped Punters) A little bit of Stamina can't hurt. I wouldn't spend Skill Points on any of these.

Get strength and vision to the soft cap. Train speed/jumping/agility.

what is the 'soft cap'?

The soft cap is the when the attributes start costing two skill points per one attribute. The first cap is at 48 (it might be 48.something, but we'll call it 48 to keep it simple).

Great, thanks. Tell me this...I have my punting up arond 75 before equipment. Does the number of skill points go up depending on level? I feel like I haven't added to it recently, because it cost two points, but then at one point I noticed it cost 3, and now its 4! Does this go up as I level up?

Also, is there a maximum at 100 pre-equipment?

These numbers have been floated around the forums.

<48.07 is 1pt
~48.07 is 2pts/
~60.52 is 3pts/
~67.98 is 4pts/
~73.25 is 5pts/
~77.29 is 6pts/
~80.54 is 7pts/

It has nothing to do with your level. It all depends on your stats.

So if you have 50 Punting, it would cost you 2 points to boost it to 51 whether you are a level 5 or 25.

Good question. I don't know if anyone has a player stat that high without equipment.
