Who went crazy with the advance AI settings?
I just made 3 inputs on offense and 2 on defense. having fun see all the guys on the main forum complain about this and that.
As you read their thread further it ends up they made a small over look or typo..and it sent everything into a tail spin

I've got a whole lot more settings than that, but I've also been playing with the defensive AI since about an hour after they unveiled it.
I probably have 2 or 3 things missed or something somewhere, though I've tried pretty hard to review it. I'll be going over play by plays for a while and comparing to my play calls, both to see how they worked, and to see if things worked the way I intended.

I've also played MLB with privs to audible the defense, and done some coaching though, so I probably had a little bit of a head start.

I got a few basic defensive settings set up. I got switched from offensive coord to defensive coord. Would be a lot more if I were offensive coord.

A few up but pretty limited in both offense and defense.

None at all ... for tonight. I wanted to check a few things out first, get my answers, and go from there.

Glad I got everything set up when I did. Managed to find a few things I didn't like or thought could use some tweaking already on the defense.
Staying mostly out of the offensive brain trust's way right now.

i just wanted to see what some basic stuff does. Like sicarius said I want to get a few answers before put in everything. I sat down during the off season and plan out what i wanted to do, what work with the personal we had and so forth. I had to make some minor adjustments.
After seeing the results I'm mostly satisfied with what we did. We hit a lot of goals I had set. So now I'm really getting amped for the real thing

that kinda shocked me too. first time i've seen that happen to Kaythan.

Yeah they may have just flipped things on their collective heads, but it IS a Beta game, right??? Gotta keep reminding myself of that fact.

Understandable. All in all, I felt I had a fair idea what most stuff did after all the play by plays I've watched for a bunch of different teams, so I wanted to really experiment and try lots of looks in different situations while I had meaningless scrimmages to work with.
Found some stuff I definitely want to keep, and a couple things I changed, a couple more I threw out entirely.

Looking forward to the next test drive.

That was the first time Kathan met Ox.

I did a complete offense and complete defense with the new AI. I was fairly pleased with the defense.. one big play. I think the drops helped as well. On the offense the running game is much better this season, the offensive lineman appeared to have a clue. I think once they get the dropped ball situation handled to where its reasonable again this could be a really fun season.
