Personally, I'd go with the second one. This coming from a guy who has a level 1 DE that's yet to play a game, so take it for what it's worth.

I'll take the same as AJD. The LDE should help the LOLB with stopping the outside run.

Yeah, but the running game has become more prevalent and most runs are aimed at the LDE. More teams should probably try running I formation to the weak side in the advanced AI though. I bet some of those RDE's are very weak.
