While the actual purchase of the Abbotsford Miners was completed a few games ago, this is the first official announcement of the purchase of this Canadian AA Western Conference team. During the last few games of the season, the new ownership has been active in signing younger players to the team, replacing the older CPU players.
The team struggled in their last four games of the season under this new ownership, but the team has shown a commitment towards the young players they signed at the end of this year.
Season tickets will be on sale following the playoffs, and we hope that we get the turnout we got last year. The ownerships commitment to the players and fans should make this following season an exciting one in Abbotsford.
