I think this might be our best shot at really making him a mod.

Obviously there has been a lot of controversy every since Asheme revealed a certain sense of pride in his own league's trolls. While we may agree or disagree that Canada has a biased mod, we can all agree that the WEPL needs its own representation.

I think most of us can agree that Mike Rogers is the man for the job.

I suggest we all put in our votes of confidence in this thread so we can give an Admin something to look at.

Whereas I am all for Mike Rogers as a mod, I would have to vote no. The reason being, he has bitten off so much other work on other topics on WEPL boards, plus all of his GM work, that he just doesn't have the time to be a mod as well. Let's not try to take 100% of the poor guy's life for our own selfish ends.

Did he express a disinterest in being a mod? I wasn't aware.

I have confidence that he can do it all and make it look easy.

Besides, once we have a mod in this forum, we probably won't NEED a mod. Just HAVING one should be enough to secure this place a little better.

It would be nice to have someone who could also move topics over to the WEPL Weekly without having to go and publicly ask a pre-existing mod.

I think if Mike Rogers was a mod, he'd still have the time to do everything else he does. It isn't a full-time job, or even a part-time job for that matter. It'll just give him the capability to laying the smack down if we need it.

He doesn't have to do anything but safeguard WEPL forums.

If it takes away from the awesome work he does for the WEPL stats, I would say no.

But if anyone should be "our" mod, MR is the clear choice.

I doub the fella has time tbh. The guy does his best to get rouind to half of his teams forums and one time last week I remember him saying that he had 300 PM or something crazy like that. Would be a good Mod if he had the time its just I doubt he does.

Once again, I don't think it's about putting in the time. I think we just need to make sure he has mod powers, so he can do what he sees fit. He doesn't have to sit here on patrol all the time, he just needs to be ABLE to do something if needed.

Mike Rogers as a mod is a much better thing than Mike Rogers NOT as a mod, no matter how much time he decides to put into it.
