Thought I would get a challenge up for the SS's. Feel free to message me between now and the day before our 1st game if you disagree with point totals per stat. I want to put a bigger emphasis on PD's and INT's due to bad defenses having there SS make all the tackles.



Every tackle: 1 point
Tackle for loss: 2 points
Every pass deflected: 3 points
Every tackle on a RB: 2 points (tackle on RB for loss would be 4 points then)
Missed Tackle: -2 points
Every interception: 5 points
Every 10 INT Return Yards: 1 point
INT is returned for a TD: 6 points


**Each entry must be made before Game 1 of the season. I will keep an updated total in Post 2**

Should play totals be included? Says absolutely nothing about the player or his ability/impact to give him points for the number of plays. More like the opposite: a good defender should be on the field less.

Yea, I dunno....probably. Paraboon came up with the stats.


It also discriminates against someone who might be a super sub.

My thoughts on the numbers of plays is that with every play your player loses energy and is more succeptable to making mistakes. I would guess that the most anyone would be awarded here would be 4-5 points a game. I'm sure if the SS group wants it changed that its not in stone just yet.
