This is my preseason predictions. I figured I have the time, and I know I enjoy reading them. I didn't take additions in too much, as I can't go through and track all the additions.
Rochester Vendetta
The Vendetta will be returning another strong team, However there are some holes that were left by free agency Dionysus Olympus will be a big loss for this team, Mr. Dawg and Pete McReady shouldn't be deal breakers though. The rest of the team returns including every offensive team member, with that a beast of an offensive line. Also an excellent receiving core will return, with Kirk Lewis still at the helm I see this being another great year for the Vendetta. I do not expect another undefeated season though.
Season 13-3
North By Gawd Texas Tornado Humpers
A conference leader year in and year out, the NBGTTH are a force to be reckoned with. They did lose some depth in their backfield as backup running back Blitz Hastings and FB Lars Sanderson are no longer with the team. Their receiving core also took a hit loosing 3 wideouts to the offseason. They do return a heck of a QB so I'm sure who ever they bring in will have the opportunity to make plays. They also return a front five who can make lesser players release their bowels upon facing them. The big test will be seeing how their new receivers fit in.They also lose some players from the defensive side. CB Jeremy Homestead, DE Johnny Sax LB, and Zachary Tomlinson have all left the Humpers with some offseason moves to make to fill holes. I see this being another good year for the Humpers but there will be some hitches along the way.
12-4
Las Vegas Heat
The big surprise team from last season, the Heat made some huge additions last offseason. They remain fairly unchanged, except 3 Gs have jumped ship, they did add G Dean Slimson to the team so that should help. The entire defense returns, so we can look the the heat to remain around the top of the league. I expect a season fairly identical to last season.
12-4
Missouri Partisan Rangers
"The Team that Never Changes" lives up to it's name. The Partisan Rangers will always be a force in BBB due to the fact no one leaves the team. However, there is also no addition to depth either to help out too much. This usually hurts them. However, as their levels increase I'm sure so does their stamina. The big part in the Partisan Ranger's success is their schedule. Should they play the toughest teams first they will be fine. If they play them last it could be a difficult season. I'm gonna go right down the middle and say they play them in the beginning and end. Making them end the season at
11-5
New Brunswick Sentinels
After a surprising loss last season to the Round Rock 12th Man, the Sentinels return a strong determined team. They lose very little, losing Straight Baller a lower level WR, Phil Brown a low level G, and two OT who didn't get a lot of playing time. They have the potential to maybe grab the gold this year. I look for them to have another fantastic season.
14-2
Double T Red Raiders
Lost Ronnie Ragsdale to Free Agency, but do have another RB ready to take his place. The Red Raiders are somewhat of a wildcard. They don't upset too many teams, but they also don't lose games they aren't supposed to lose. They also lost Sunshine Scooter and "Big" John Studd. In the clubhouse there are far less dumb observations and far less "Big Johnson" jokes, but hopefully the morale will stay up. They return most of the O-line but lost OTs Arthur Shell and Donnie Rodriguez to free agency. On defense the secondary has shaken up a little bit, with Jamar Wall II not returning to the team. Also they lost Keneith Norton, which shouldn't be much of a loss, as the Red Raiders have a strong linebacker core. On the front line of the Defense they lost Brandon Sesay, also not too big of a loss. It will be interesting to see how the new players that the Red Raiders bring in to fill the holes mesh with the team. I see this being a good season, but not too stellar for the Red Radiers
10-6
Olympia Dollar Ninety Nines
This is another team who hasn't made too many moves this offseason. They are a fairly middle of the road team. Nothing jumps out upon looking at their roster. They are solid at WR, and are pretty set at HB. However, there are glaring problems with not having enough OTs, they are deeper at guard but the level drops quite a bit from second to third string. On defense they are fairly thin they have a strong front line. Also the Linebackers seem to be fairly strong as long as they stick to the 4-3. Increasing the LBs would cause a problem for them. Also they have only 3 CBs at this time. With the FA market how it is the question is how they will add depth to their corners? They do have strong a FS and SS though the levels drop when the backup comes in. I see this as a rough year for the 1.99s
7-9
Cincinnati Stallions
The Stallions have been out making themselves a contender. Looking at their roster several things stand out. They now have a level 26 FS, a strong group of linebackers that could be used to run a 3-4. The weakest part of the defense is deffinately the secondary. With just 3 CBs, and besides the level 26 FS no one in the secondary being over level 20 teams with a pass heavy offense could exploit these guys. There is still some time left though, so they could adress some of these problems. Also another glaring thing, that is not an on the field issue, is the huge salaries that have been put on the table for their players. This could factor in as the season wears on. On offense they are strong. Ryan Leaf is a strong QB, along with Shayne Patrick there should be some big gains through the air. They also have a strong O-line, but when the backups come in there is a bit of a drop in level. The HBs should be able to get some yards in the beginning of the game, but it will remain to be seen if the line will hold up through the game. I see this being a good year for the stallions
9-7
Houston Gamblers
Another overall solid team, the Gambler's resemble the Stallions. On offense they have a strong passing game led by Paul Krew and his reciever Big Sexxy. They also have a line that will keep the pass rush at bay. But they also are hurting in terms of depth. Should the starting guards tire at all, the next person coming in could be a huge weakness that the D can exploit. They are not deep at OT or G, but they have two good Centers, and a pair of great TEs. On defense they are not deep on the line, but they are strong. They have a strong DE in A.J. wright, while the rest of the d-line is just overall solid. They also have a great linebacker in Rock Smasher, who leads another core of good linebackers. However, this team is not deep enough to run a 3-4 at LB. They have 3 great CBs but should teams go 4 wide a lot, there's a chance that their level 16, the 4th CB, to be torn apart by teams with deep recievers. They have Rieley Lott a level 25 SS, but the rest of the safties are nothing spectacular.
9-7
East Coast Catamounts
The Catamounts a middle of the road team. They have some spots where they are stronger, parts where they are weaker. They do have the ability to have a good game, or to be exploited offensively or defensively. They have only two OTs, and 4 Gs and 1 C. This could cause fatigue problems on the front line. Which is where the offense will fail. They will succeed if they can keep the pass rush at bay. They have a good pass game, and will be a average to below average rushing team. The D-Line of the Catamounts is strong, but not deep at all. However, there is a weak spot with fat jared a level 14. At linebacker they are average, but they also are going to fatigue fast. They have a level 15 who is going to be helping back up. So if he comes in it could be a problem. They have a fairly strong secondary who should help slow down opposing teams passing games.
7-9
Miranda Reavers
I don't want to sounds to harsh or mean, but this is where the teams take a turn for the worse. I think the Reavers are the best of the bad, mainly because they do have flashes of a strong team. TD pass and Andrell Saller make up a good passing tandem. They are weak at HB, and the front line..is weak at best. They are going to be average at OT, and Guard play shouldn't be TOO terrible. The center position is a position for worry. Defensively things get uglier. They are not deep at any position, and the secondary is going to get burned. The Reavers once again will be a bottom dweller.
1-15
D.C. Sonics
The Sonics are a team that has the pieces, but apparently after taking them out of the box...loses some of them. They have a strong QB and HB, and a starting line. A line that rivals most of the BBB's best. That's where the praise ends. They are weak at WR, TE, and have little to no depth anywhere. Where they do have depth it's weak.
Defensively it's not much better. They starting d-line is average, but it's not deep, and they will tire very quickly. They do have some strong LBs, but they have a LEVEL 9 CB in the 3rd and 4th slot. This is a team that if they don't fix that quickly will be burned for A LOT of yards by teams like the Vendetta. Another bottom feeder here.
3-13
Jaguara Breakers
Most of the team has been inactive since Jul 14. Pretty weak overall team. I see no wins in the future.
0-16
Billy Chreech Gangstaz
Another team of inactives and with little no "depth" persay. They have a lot of low levels that are the same position as others. They have a good passing game, but no line to protect the QB or HB. On defense most teams will tear through their miniscule line, and burn their low level cbs.
2-14
Los Angeles Majors
This team has the makings to surprise people this year, but I doubt they will. I think this is the strongest lower level team, they have gone out and done some recruiting and another 0-16 year I think is out of the question. However, they are seriously lacking in some areas. Right now they have two CBs, and their LBs are weak. They start out strong but finish very weak. The D-line has one good player, but then it really goes downhill from there. If defense wins championships...well that won't be happening here. Where they have gotten stronger is on offense. Which wasn't that hard, it's like taking a WoW nerd to the gym for a week. They have a pretty good o-line, but only 3 WRs. They have a good backfield that should score some points. Just not enough to keep up with the other team who has put in the third string and are still scoring at will.
4-12
The Voodoo are left out of this. I did figure my record I think we will have into the overalls of every team though.
