Alright, so here's my situation. Level 10 (stats below), but I have 10 SP's saved from end of season boost, still have yet to upgrade level 8 equip, AND still have yet to buy my custom equipment.

Sooooo, that leaves me...20 sp's, right?

Strength: 28.61 Blocking: 7
Speed: 11.52 Tackling: 8
Agility: 14.8 Throwing: 11.52
Jumping: 11.52 Catching: 8
Stamina: 10.88 Carrying: 7
Vision: 18.6 Kicking: 55
Confidence: 40.95 Punting: 9

As you can see, my Vision is low. Bort specifically said that vision will be important now. Should I pour all my points into vision?

What I was thinking...was to put *some* points into vision, and not spend/buy upgrades yet. Play the two preseason games and see how well I kick, then add more if needed. Good plan? If so, what would you recommend...10 points into vision to start?

Kicking - Strength - Confidence ... These are the main kicker attributes, get them to at least 48 ASAP. Vison, Agility and Speed are also important, train them up. SA's don't mean much until you have the big 3 at the soft cap (48)

Not sure about this anymore tho. As I said...Bort stated that you will need vision to go along with that high Kicking ability to make field goals. I'm thinking that vision could be more important now than STR or CON.

Vision has always been important to the kicker - if you can't see them how can you get it thru the uprights? Kickers need confidence, especially if they miss a kick, and the strength to get it there. As my kicker gets stronger he is trying longer kicks. I am no expert, but that is what has worked for me.

Right, and it looks like you have some good kickers too. But what has worked in the past may very well not work now. I'm thinking that vision is now AS important as confidence and strength, at least from the way Bort worded it.

So my plan is this...put 5 points into vision, see how I perform in the first preseason game (and hope I get to kick lots of FG's). If I miss, put 5 more in. Otherwise, spend the rest of the points (and equip bonuses) in other categories.

Gear all of your equipment strictly for kicking, both regular equipment and custom.

Your vision is still at a level where it should be trained and skill points not used. Kicking and confidence will always be the most important. At minimum, your kicking should be 60+ right now so I think he's a little behind there. All your equipment should be placed on kicking as it is by far the most important skill.

Yes, vision will be important. Save some points for it if you wish and train it to at least 20. Personally, I would train to 24 before adding skill points to it. But really, you are still leveling quickly enough that you don't need to save points.

YES! Throw everything else into Str and Vis.

I think I'm gonna go with sticking all my equipment into Kicking, as it's at the soft cap, and then can put future upgrades into str/vis.

Glad I haven't spent my points yet, eh? I knew something would change with kickers and like I said earlier, vision seems to have become more important...Bort even pointed out that a kicker either not taking kicks or missing them was possibly due to his vision being low.

I never said vision wasn't important. Training on normal, from 18.6 your vision would be at 20+ in 4 days. Kicking and confidence is still more important, IMO, but we'll see.
