Well, Bort has announced agility will be more of a factor of acceleration than speed now. What does everyone think? Is it gonna be a small change where it is minor but noticeable? Or will it be an amazingly huge deal and receivers will suck until they can recover. What does everyone think?

I think I was glad I caught wind of this early enough to boost my receiver and his agility.

I've heard that a 3/2 ratio of speed/agility will be needed to keep the same acceleration.

I'm really glad that he's going this, as this is how I've built pretty much all of my players.

I normally try to keep Agility within 10-15 of my Speed, which should pay off for next season.

Yea same here. Also it should help us against CBs with speed way higher than agility. This should really help my possession WR for the first few games.

Yeah, but it really blows because we already had to dump points in strength to combat deflections. To be a good WR anymore you have to spread your points out much more than a freaking QB.

^ it's the same way for CB's, heck for everyone.

anyone think having super high agility and forgetting the speed may be the way to go?

Sure hope that is as low as it goes. Shouldn't have much of an effect on my WR then if any

Nah , then you would just accelerate very fast , but your topspeed would suck . IMO

But as I've read in the official changes thread that Bort started he told that he had simmed it with some existing players and that it worked out just fine , so I wouldn't expect that huge change that some of you might fear .

I hope it's a change that will make huge speed useless if you don't have the agility to go with it .

QFT. just means you cant neglect agi, is in no way change that makes a high agility build a viable success story.

yall do know that if its a 3/2 ratio then if a guy had 75 speed, he would only need 50 agility...personally that ratio sounds a little off to me...i think the ratio is a bit different once you get into higher speeds and such.

keeping it within 10-15 sounds about right to me as long as you have a speed higher then 50.
