In the end, which back do you think will end up being most effective?

I think it'll be the power backs that dominate in the future because of the natural strength mismatch that's always going to occur between powerbacks and DB's.

All depends on whether the Powerback can power his way past the 100+ strength linemen that will occur as well. I think it really is a moot point and that if you have both types of backs on your team you will have an advantage.

Heh, that goes without saying. I assumed everything else being equal, including the O-lines.

So far, it looks like power backs and elusive backs can do the same type of things, just in different styles. what we're learning is that speed backs don't work.
