This thread is on the main board. Someone found the ineptitude of the Empire! I went ahead and posted briefly. Has anyone contacted support? I don't know why admin hasn't done something yet (I thought they were notified after 15 days of inactivity). I think it just brings the conference down and the only thing it really does is decide who the league leaders will be. It could end up being the difference between someone in the West getting home field, then someone is going to be really pissed.

If the league is in agreement I'll send the request if we want to bring it to their attention (if someone hasn't already). It's not fair with thousands of people waiting for teams to leave one sit there. What does everyone think?

Its a joke to be honest. I waited months to get a team and I havent done too badly, wont mention the previous owner and his anticts (thanks to admin for rectifying matters). However its hard to take seeing teams being run like this when there are plenty of geunine people who are desperate to get their hands on a team.

Sounds like everyone is in agreement we should bring this up. I will send a request in later tonight 11 PM (EST). If anyone wants to keep the redheaded stepchild around let me know by then or else I'll send it and see whats going on.

We had the same problem. Our owner ditched us and was inactive for a whole season(hence the relegation). It took support( owner being inactive for 21 days) forever to reply to our cry for help. Me and a few guys then directly PM'd Bort and he sorted it out in 10 minutes. Same idea for the team concept. The Phoenix Scorpions had the
same problem. A human owned the team,but there was only CPU players in it and a freaking KICKER AT QB. After the whole league complained Bort stripped the guy of the team and gave it to the 1st guy on the list...

Ok the message has been sent, albeit a day or two after I said I would. I got busy with real life and offseason stuff. I will let you know if/when I get a response. Hopefully I don't have to go and bother Bort with this but if that's what it takes then I guess we will.

No one is going to be able to bother Bort with anything unless they are on his white list.

That was easy enough! Welcome to whoever the new owner is, and your welcome Or I'm sorry if you didn't want to inherit a sucky team.

You have done the right thing but jeez my commiserations to whoever gets the Empire as their new team......

I sure hope that new owner has some level 20 talent in his pocket. I would hate to get a team like that and then have to find high level free agents willing to join up this late.

I'm really sorry for whoever inherits that team. We all wish you the best of luck.
