My FB is a level 5 and I'll be boosting 3x on Day 1 next season. I'm training Blocking atm, 0.4/day. I also expect to level up immediately the first game of next season is played.
What should I spend the 20 SP on?

Strength: 21
Speed: 24
Agility: 20.56
Jumping: 10
Stamina: 24.14
Vision: 12.8
Confidence: 11.8
Blocking: 16.41
Tackling: 10.8
Throwing: 9
Catching: 10.8
Carrying: 19.39
Kicking: 9
Punting: 8

What is your intent, Blocking, Rushing, or Balanced FB?

Initially I was intending to create a rushing FB, but have been advised that Blocking might be the better route to go down. I guess that means I'll be trying to make a balanced player!

First I would rebuy all equipment and put it into the attribute you want to max out first.

i wouldn't worry about changing the eq until you're level 8. then fix the attributes you want to max. you definitely need to get blocking up. vision too although i suppose you can train that. to be a good FB, imo you want to have vision equal to your HB, so you see the same things.

Is there a reason why you are boosting? At level 5, you'll level up pretty quickly. I'd wait until the end of the season.

The reason I'm boosting is 'cause I'm sticking out my contract at a D League team, and I'll move to the top of the depth chart when I boost, and get more game time.

no you won't D-league teams as close to perfectly as they can, also you are more than 3 levels beneath the guy above you

''D-league teams as close to perfectly as they can''

What?

maybe he means "goes by levels as close to..."? either case...you'll get a lot more exp if you wait to boost, unless you never see the field.

A D League team splits snaps somewhat close to evenly (unless you're a punter or kicker). I had a level 10 QB there a season ago. In the League Championship game, he was #1 of 5 QBs on the depth chart, with #5 being a level 1 CPU. The CPU received only 3 fewer plays than my guy (the "starter") got, despite a 9 level difference. The AI just doesn't care about level, #1 gets 1 play, then #2 gets one, then #3 gets one, etc ...

In that case maybe it's not worth boosting so early in the season. You gain XP quicker at lower levels right?
