It has come to my attention that the team owner of the Lycans has stolen my son's password and hijacked his player, Dodd Kinder. My son gave him the password when we went on vacation so the owner, Link could continue to level him up. When a release or trade was requested at seasons end, Link changed my son's password without his knowledge, effectively hijacking his player. Now Link won't respond to any of my son's pm's and has blocked him so he can't message him. Is this how the game should be played? Seriously, how lame is this?? Just thought everyone should know so you can stay away from dealings with this team and owner.

No kidding? Well if its true thats really dissapointing.
Posting it here wont do anything really other than inform the rest of the league. PM support about it or make a thread in the main forums.
How can your son PM him if his account was hijacked?

I have already messaged support, and since I have an account and two players I have been pm this dude also. Just want people to know what kind of adult this is that would steal a 16 year olds player....

Didn't hijack the whole account... just the one player.

How do you hijack just one player and not the account? Being that the initial act of allowing another to use your account is illegal, its hard to have any sympathy.

Yeah once your logged in you have access to the whole account, players, messages, etc...
Hopefully it can be resolved. You shouldn't give out your password, but it sounds like he was just trying to be helpful to the team in doing so...can't really fault him for being a "trusting" team player.

The culprit here is Link. Link obviously duped him into trusting him while seeing an opportunity. Please let us know if sanctions were instituted against the owner. If not we need a strong response to GLB admins that this type of immoral action cannot be tolerated especially against our younger players not so wise in dealings with scumbags.

The thread on the main forum got locked real quick. Mod said it's the kids fault and quoted the rules, which technicially is what happened.

There's a difference between what's legal and what's right. It's a kid, but even if it wasn't, it's still a sleazy thing to do (if it's true---we haven't heard the other side of the story yet). Schmooze someone into getting them to trust you and then screw them over---why are we blaming the victim?

I agree with you Knightman. I'm not going to make any claims as to what Link did or didn't do, but if this is true it's pretty shady and shouldn't go without some sort of punishment.

admins should ban him for having multiple accounts especially if this is how he acquired the 2nd one.

LINK had a player on another team I was on and made the impression of being a nice person. Bengaldan posted this in another forum as well and Mods are looking into it

Not the whole story at all, he already knows this and should be fixing it by now. I shared his account for 2 whole seasons and everything was fine. Kinder breached my trust, therefore i breached his. I'm the only one who put money into his flex points, he never bought any, didn't even have equipment. If he didn't want to play for my team, then he should not have allowed me to put flex points into it. There's two sides and two victims here. It's only a game and i realize that, but money was only involved on my side. I am resolving the situation as we speak with Bengaldan hoping to work something out.

Good to hear the other side, glad to see it's being taken care of in an adult manner.
