I started as a balanced TE, but i want to move more to a receiver. Ive noticed that one of our other TE's gets alot more passes thrown to him even though he is 1-2 levels below me. He does have a higher vision by about 4 and Catching is above me by about 13, the rest of my stats beat his.

Strength: 23.5 Blocking: 21.5
Speed: 33.86 Tackling: 11.86
Agility: 27.53 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 13.42 Catching: 28.5
Stamina: 27.86 Carrying: 18.57
Vision: 20.85 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 18.67 Punting: 8

2,3,2,2,2 in receiving SAs as well

One of the top Receiving TEs in the game though has a lower Catching ability than him and lower vision but has a HUGE speed and above average AGI.

So do you guys think either way works in the end game? or will my teammates abilities taper off at the end game with a low speed and agi?

Stick with the top player stats? or go with what ive seen myself on my own team? albeit lower level stuff.

In terms of getting open for a pass, Speed, Agility, and Vision are the big factors, along with confidence (But confidence affects everything, really).

If you really want to get open, boost your Route Run SA, it will give you a sizable boost to speed and agility when running routes.

However, looking at your stats, you ACTUALLY get more passes thrown at you, but you've dropped more than either two back-up TEs on your team combined. Which is why you have less receptions. Get your catching up some, and increase your jumping a bit, and your should catch more.

I would not invest in any SA's until you have gotten Speed, Strength, Confidence and Agility all past the 48 soft cap

I have dropped alot, but i get thrown to alot less..you saw my stats before i joined the team and was on a comp team also..i got a good amount of throws my way back then. Crayzee only played 12 games and got more than me on this team AND my comp team. I get FAR less passes thrown to me. The only stats he beats me on are vision and catching, maybe the QBs have more confidence in him somehow? is there some stat/morale/chemistry/whatever that would do that?

Ive worked on my drops..its slowed down alot since then too.

Not tryin to argue with ya, or tell ya yer wrong..just getting the stuff straight so i can figure my stuff out right.

You could probably work your catching up to about 35 and vision closer to 30, but don't spend ANY more on SAs for a long time. They won't do any good until certain stats get high enough. Try getting speed and agility to the soft cap after that. Don't forget to train carrying, next season Bort is putting more emphasis on carrying so TEs will need at least 24 to hold on to the ball. Good luck!
