Ok, so both Lower Shoulder and Power Through make mention of the HB's "size" as being an issue along with strength.

My question is this: In your opinion, is that a reference to height/weight ratio or just weight? Basically I want to know if it is better to have a tall and heavy HB or a short and heavy HB, or does height not matter at all?

Ideally, you want the shortest and heaviest available HB. Those are the strongest ones. I think on GLB it's something like 5'11" 224 or somewhere around there. I know 5'11" is the shortest.

my power HB is 6'3 211. Kind of tall and skinny for a power HB but its working pretty well.

That is why I asked the question, I have a 5'11 217 back that does pretty well but didn't know for sure what size meant

Is 6'2" 197 a decent size for a Power Back? That sounds kinda small.

Same with mine. Took forever to get a 6'2" 220 lb back that had good strength too. Wish I could be like 240 lbs though.

So it would appear that nobody knows for sure whether tall or short is better.

Nobody knows if tall or short is better irl either heh. Eddie George was 6'3" and he ran over people. Jerome Bettis was 5'11" and he ran over people.

i didn't know size affects your player until a short time ago lol..
ohz well, i'm sure it doesn't play that much an affect anyway... at least I hope not!

they both matter. a power back who is 6'5 224 would break a lot of tackles.

just like a HB who is 5'11 180 would be able to elude tackles better.

shorter should mean a lower center of gravity though...harder to take down, while taller would give you leverage to bowl people over.
