StazNasty is a friend of mine for whom two of my players have committed to playing for his expansion team. I'm aware of his Strength based LB, Briggs Finley, who has focused on Agility in addition to his primary Strength.

In an experiment, I've created a LB, Polish Dobre Shunka (Dobre Shunka is polish for good ham and was the Hall of Famer Jack Ham's nickname) who is being built to soft cap Strength asap and then focus mostly on speed to model his namesake who was known for his speed and devastating hits.

I'll update after each game with his current build and game results.

Polish Dobre Shunka

Creation:
6'3", 230#'s
Strength: 16
Tackling: 15
Agility: 13
Vision: 12
Stamina: 11
Speed: 10

---------------------------------------------------------

Attributes for his 1st game:

Strength: 35 (+4, equipment, +15 SP placement)
Tackling: 15
Agility: 13
Vision: 12
Stamina: 11
Speed: 10.58 (+.58 training)

Game 1 Results: Level 1
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=77926

20 Plays
5 Tackles
0 MsTk
0 Sack
0 TFL
0 FFum
0 PD
0 Int

Notes... Shunka's first game was a D-League championship game victory. 3 Tackles on running plays and 2 Tackles on pass plays.

Thoughts... One tackle for every 4 snaps is a heck of a start for Shunka. So far I have to like the experiment and winning a championship, even if just a D-League championship, is a good omen that does great honor for his namesake.

I LOVEEEEE this! Another AWESOME experiment. I'd love to see two STR heavy experimentals on the same team wrecking havoc among ball carriers. Great GREAT experiment to start and I'm glad you have chosen to do this kind of experiment. That teams is going to have some HARD HITTING LBs.

Thanks but I may not have been clear. Sorry for any confusion. Staz is indeed a friend and I have committed two players to play for him but Polish is not one of them.

I'll be playing Polish in the d-league next season unless another friend has room to get him 25 snaps a game, which I'd never ask given his level and his being an experiment. At the end of season 4 Polish will be level 10 and at that time if he is still a success then I'll custom equip him and boost him to 13 at which level he should not have any problems finding a human home.

My main purpose with Polish is to compare him to Briggs, owned by Staz, so we can both see what second attribute is most effective with a Strength based LB. Will Strength plus Speed (Polish) or Strength plus Agility (Briggs) be better? We shall find out.

I also made an error in my morning coffee fog. Polish's first game was for the conference champion to determine who faces the other conference champion in the league title match. Game plays in two days.

I'll update after each game.

Oh alright, I must've read that wrong initially then. My fault, regardless though, I still really really want to see how this guy pans out. Keep up the good work brother. Don't forget to update us/me after every game! Haha, I love these experiments!

I might be asking him to come in
Either that or bring in my other strength built LB who has soft capped STR at Level 4

I just had an LB commit pull his LB and one of his OTs out to free up some FP

One never knows what the future needs of a team might be. You know that when needed, should Shunka prove to be viable, he'd certainly be available.

Dobre Shunka suits up to play for his d-league trophy game in just over 12 hours. I'll update then to show what he managed to do.

Agility: 13
Vision: 12
Stamina: 11.55 (+0.55 training)
Speed: 11.14 (+1.14 training)

Game 2 Results: Level 1
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=78275

25 Plays
1 Tackles
0 MsTk
0 Sack
1 TFL
0 FFum

*Notes* His d-league team moved him from the reserve MLB to the starting ROLB for this game. He had his tackle for a half yard loss on a pass play.

Polish will focus his training on Stamina once season four begins.
