Tana River Ewoks vs Honolulu Beach Boys

This is the greatest matchup of all time within the Western Conference. Massive stakes on both sides. The Beach Boys who are undefeated this year are expected to make it all the way and losing in the Western Finals would be considered a HUGE dissapointment. The Ewoks who are the Black Horse who just keeps winning and impressing along the way.

Earlier this season the Ewoks were stomped 19-0. As we've seen through the later season and the playoffs though they aren't the same team. Earlier in the season the Ewoks also lost to the Thunder 37-21 then turned around in the playoffs and impressed all by upsetting the #2 Seed 19-10. Want a super star on the team? Well on the Ewoks you're not going to find one, what you are going to find is a team who plays AS A TEAM. This is certainly why it's so hard to plan against them, you can't take a player out of the game because they have so many threats.

The Honolulu Beach Boys are a juggernaut team. They've dominated everyone this season and made it known that anything less the league championship would be a dissapointment. They've played exceptionally well and look to continue to extend their unbeaten streak. Earlier in the season the Beach Boys did win the game 19-0 but don't expect them to sit back and relax. Like Tana, HNL has an amazing staff and underestimates no team. HNL has some solid playmakers behind the legs of Mike Juskiw and aruably one of the best in the game with Paki Raider. They will game plan their best against Tana to shut down their players but will it be enough?

Given their past meeting and dominance it's so easy to choose Honolulu. Given Tana's dangerous ability to upset though I will for once go with the underdog.

Unconquered's Predictions
Tana River Ewoks Win 27-24

Awesomeville Bearphins at Tecmo All Stars

The epic game between the Bearphins and the All Stars returns. This was dubbed as the game of the season. The first match-up didn't live to that billing. There is a lot of history here. Tecmo has won both season games. Awesomeville did get some revenge when it counted more though as they beat the All Stars in last season's playoffs.

Looking to last season, the first game ended in a 20-10 victory for Tecmo. Tecmo continued to glide through the Eastern Conference with a lot of confidence. Many posts were created about how good the team was. Then came the second round playoffs. Awesomeville turned things around. They took the game 26-20. That result shocked just about everyone. They went on to lose the next game against the Scoonie Badgers. So we were able to see a rematch this season.

Some changes have been made. The more obnoxious posters were booted off the Tecmo team. They have been quieter this season as they continued their undefeated ways. In two seasons, the All Stars have not dropped a regular season game going 32-0. This season, Tecmo has shut out their opponents 9 times. Their defense leads the way. They have plenty of weapons on offense as well. It is hard to pick out a few key players from the talented group. Deion Sanders Jr leads the Tecmo secondary with 15 interceptions during the season. He'll have to step up this game to help shut down a dangerous passing attack. JJ Dyno Might was the second leading rusher this season. A big game here would cement him as being known as the best in the league.

Awesomeville has made more noise in the public. Bearphin at one time stated no other team had a chance to beat Awesomeville outside of Tecmo. That didn't come true as they dropped two other games. The battle of the unbeatens never panned out as well. There has been plenty of talk going between the teams. Unconquered has dedicated his avatar to the Bearphins. When it has mattered most, the Bearphins won. They are returning to the Eastern Conference Championship. They are lead by the strong arm of Awesome Lee and a bruising rushing attack.

Looking at some seasonal statistics, Tecmo has an advantage. They are averaging 41.8 points a game while giving up 6.5. Awesomeville is averaging 35.5 points and giving up 12.9. This has grown to a good rivalry. Both teams want to beat the other one down. It is going to get ugly on the field.

One stat that many have overlooked. The team that has scored first has won the game in each of the previous 3 games. Look for a high paced game with lots of scoring.

Tecmo All Stars, 46-24

Sounds good tyante. Again, I never said no one could beat us. I just said it would be difficult. Anyway, the Eastern Final should be a good game regardless of who wins, not to say I don't think we can.

All trash talk aside I think it's going to be a epic game. We've had our share of matchups and i'm really looking forward to the game.

is there a way to do play by play with out seeing the score first? kinda like you can for your own teams but for someone elses team. i guess if i new the game number i could replace it in the browser but if i new the game # i probably have already seen the score by then.

hmm.

Anyways. good luck to all 4 teams. hope they are good games without controversy

I would also like to take a moment to remember CODoubleBizzle. I'm sure his team would have been here in the conference finals had Bort and the administration notdesigned the sim to specifically make bad calls and plays against the LA Express.

To be honest I dont see the Ewoks as the underdog in this one Unconquered, according to the matchup they have us by 3 in nearly every category so despite the records which arent that different, reverse the outcome of our game earlier this season and they are identical, I think Tana has the edge and would be the favorite in Vegas, not by much since we have home field, but I dont know how much if any the sim takes home field into consideration, this will be a battle for the ages, and I just hope we can hang in there against a quality team in the Ewoks

I believe you can go to a person's page who does not show the scores and watch the game from there. I just looked at Mikie's profile and see he has his scores hidden. There is a link to watch our last game. I'll be hiding my scores too and watching the game.

Good luck to all the teams.
