Question is should I take strength up to the level 68 cap or leave it where it is for now. I'm aware I need some more stamina which I will get with boosts at the start of next season. I just wanted to get it trained up as much as I could first.

I definitely plan on adding some power SA's just waiting till I decide where to stop adding to my strength. I wanted to cap it as high as I could as early as I could for maximum value from my level stat boosts.

get speed to 25. (through only traininh of course)
get carrying to 25 (again, training)
get stamina to 25 (yup, only with training)
get str to max (HELLY YEAH)
SAs should only be bougt after you MAX str to the highest you can.
break some heads/tackles

wow.......... that is a waste. max out your strength while everything else sucks. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=2634147

22 broken tackles in less than 85 carries is not bad. in my mind anyway. plus i was lv 12-14 in an A league

Powerbacks in GLB aren't suppose to really be homerun hitters. You need him to have a lot of strength and decent/good speed. 50 Strength isn't good at all for a powerback. All of your other attributes like speed and agility are good for a HB, now you just have to get your strength up a lot higher and put all your equipment in there.

Also, what is the points of putting 1 in quick cut and 1 in head fake? IMO, you should rather put none in there than waste a point. Only put points in SAs if your committed to get them up higher (5 or higher) so they actually do something and not have a point wasted in there that won't help at all.

I dont know what that guy is talkin about.

Dude build your player the way you want to. In this game everyone is a "expert". Theres so many people that there will always be someone to say they didnt do it that way and it still worked. Take what you get here with a grain of salt. A big one.

Anyway back to our builds. Seriously though this is a good way to go. Its going to be a good build for 3rd and shorts and goal line situations. Which is what Im trying to go for.

You should find a good team. One that communicates and is in it for the long haul, then build a player to fill in the weakness. My team im building for came up half yard short a lot this year trying to convert 3rd downs. And settling for FGs. Just make sure you tell the owner so he doesnt waste money in the FA trying to buy the solution.
