finally doing this because we lost in the playoffs...

I consider him to be fairly productive for my team. I was wondering what I should improve to make him a more effective player.

Here is my plan for him. I plan to keep training jumping till 26 then train confidence to 20 then train catching to 26 and then train both jumping and catching to 30 (jumping 1st). In the mean time I plan to soft cap vision.

I am not sure what to do after that. I was thinking of soft capping strength after that but I am also thinking of splitting the equipments between speed and strength because having an SS with 70 speed (when I reach lvl 24) is a waste.

But how useful is an SS with 50+ strength (if I soft cap strength and add the equipment)? Would the equipment be better used elsewhere? Your opinions and criticisms are welcome on both this plan and my opinions.

yeah get your vision up, then train confidence to 20 and disregard catching/jumping until after that. work on your agility some more, then throw a few points into stamina so you don't get subbed out a lot (unless subbing on your team is weird). i know a hard-hitting SS that has 45 into strength with his tackling set on going for the fumble, but he only got 3 FF this season so i'm not sure if it's worth it. he hardly had any missed tackles though...

How much more agility should I aim for (I already have 50 so adding more will be +2 for each point)?

ah yeah i forgot about that. some of my equipment is in agility so i hit the soft cap plus more and don't have to worry about the +2 yet. maybe 50 is alright then for now

yeah fumbles are wierd, my ss has about 40 strength and had 7ff last season. all luck I guess

why is 70 speed a waste? im not arguing, just curious. i soft capped speed and put all equip into that. i figure ill soft cap vision next, then hit agility.

I donno it just seems a lot. But I guess you do see those WRs and RBs who just pump speed and neglect everything else so 70 speed would be good for that. After reviewing responses and talking to a few other players I've decided to just put all equipments into speed. So by lvl 24 I should have the 48 vision soft cap as well as 70 speed 35 strength. BTW do you think 20 confidence is enough for an SS? I was thinking of getting confidence to 20 then training jumping and catching to 30.

I'm thinking at SS I want to be a part of every tackle on the field. Coverage is fine, but I'd rather be there to knock 3 balls down, than pick one off and give 2 long passes up... I'm thinking vision max next, agility max after that, then spending SP on tackling, strength, confidence, catching, and jumping... but not maxing them out, or at least staying fairly even. By my thinking, a SS doesn't just have to cover fast RB's and TE's... he also has to run up and tackle RB's and WR/TE's on short passes. Feel free to critique. I'm learning from you guys, and don't mind sharing what I think.

get agility to 48 then vision to 48 ASAP. THat speed isn't going to do you any good when your agility is low. You normally want agility no lower then 2/3 your speed.

Solid build Zark. If it were me, I would train on confidence until its around 20 (which I just started doing) and get your stamina up to 40. After that Id look at catching. Get that up to atleast 25. From there id say spend the rest of your points for a while and build your coverage skills tree.

We had similar stats last season (im a lvl 20 SS)
Im still open to sugestion with my players direction as well so here it is:

Firstly I would only allocate equipment to only one or two abilities (for any player) and then get speed then agility and then vision to soft cap. IMO your stamina with the equipment is too high. My SS doesn't seem to have a problem with 31 stamina playing at hard on 45-50 plays a game. I guess you would want more if you are in more plays but then that's why all positions need good backups with only small drop offs between starter and backup. Remember your peek exp is gained with 45-50 plays.

True. I used my equipment to boost stamina (early in career)when we had no real backup and I was getting killed by the end of the game. I'll sell off and get new equipment
