Interesting. Alpine/Akron are awfully close. Just a note, though, we actually have a few "backups" that are higher level than the starter. I'd be curious to see average level across the whole teams.

Its only an indication of team strength, depth is of course very important and even more so the builds of the players.

I must add that you would be the clear favorite in a matchup beetween Akron and Alpine in the conference final, but I think that an Akron win wouldn't be a given.

what do starters say if you say nothing about the backups
the overall backup numbers to would be nice to see
nice to have some 22 average starting but it means nothing if the backup doesnt even get close (or yea hes 22plays all game just to bad all points are in stam)

For those interested, here's the average level for the entire team for the remaining playoff teams. I didn't break up O and D.

Akron – 20.82
Alpine – 19.87
Chicago – 19.60
Albuquerque – 19.58
Omaha – 19.02
Anchorage – 18.29
San Diego – 17.90
Memphis – 17.18
