Does anybody have a cb with tons of points in catching? I was just wondering if it works out.

no, its more vision that allows CBs to get INTs. the most id go with catching is 35 and he'd have to be like level 25.

Yeah you don't need anywhere near that much catching.
Feel free to try it and report back though! It'd be educational, I'm sure!

I was thinking that if the cb's catching skills are higher than the actual reciever, their might be some great results.

Might be, problem is getting to the ball before the receiver if you dump everything into your catching attribute.

My CB's very successful in getting picks, my theory is:
speed > agility > vison = catching
speed > agility > vison = catching

my CB had 19 INTs this year....I've never put a SP into catching although I've trained it from time to time.
Jumping/Vision/Speed/Agility are more important.

Jumping is more important than catching. Think about it, have you ever heard of a catching jack? Or catching jack flash? Or Mexican Catching beans?
No.

Jumping is far more important, as it helps with interceptions, PDs as well as diving tackles. Whereas catching only helps with interceptions, or so i twould seem.

ya jumping has to help get INTs. I had it at 20 or so before and I got 4 INTs both season 1 and season 2. Well I got it up to around a 25 at the beginning of this season and I got 5 INTs in the regular season and 1 INT in the one playoff game. I think it does help.
