Regardless of build, you need speed to get some seperation from CBs as even with high catching you'll still get quite a few deflections.

i suppose you can boost your guy 3 levels and bring your speed up to 40. that would sure help

I don't think he was asking for build help. That would seem to be unlikely coming off a 26-catch, 200+ yard day.

I appreciate any advice anyone would give, so thank you. I'm offering my build as possibly an alternative to a really fast guy. As the 26 catches, 213 yards... Totally uncharacteristic, my play intensity was on relaxed -- hence the 3 drops.

Nice experiment. Altough as someone said before, it seems like there's an issue with the sims. When you're really slow as a WR the CB is backpedalling at full speed and that give you separation in the first yards.
Did you face that situation with your guy ?

I think it would be interesting to see how a Speed 40-45 WR and catching 45-50 build is doing.

Still nice to try that and share with everyone

I think it would be interesting if you put a few points into quick cut and head fake.

Thats what I am working on now. I have capped speed at soft cap and agility at soft cap and will be getting catching up to the soft cap in 5 levels. I will post results once I get my catching higher.
