Who are the candidates?

On offense, anybody who didn't play Oakland is pretty much non-qualified.

How about Vlad Tanker. Nice total yds, and he had a 3.8 yd/avg against us.

What about Steve Dorsey most yards and 39 touchdowns.

My 2 candidates would be Dorsey and Tanker.

They lead NW to a 15-1 record, and both have outperformed at their respective positions.

What Dorsey did was even more amazing because he was under-leveled for most of the season. He only boosted last week.

I haven't looked but if a player is lower level only because he didnt boost and another player did, that is nothing amazing. That is a negligible difference in levels and it is all up to the build.

I'm not taking anything away from his great season, just trying to put some context to that statement. If he was lvl 16 going against lvl 22 players or something, then I would call it amazing. This I would just call a damned good season performance worthy of recognition.

The point is that he was 3-4 levels lower than almost every other QB in the conference throughout the majority of the season.

...unlike most league leaders, who tend to be 3-4 levels higher than almost every other player at their postition throughout the majority of the season.

Except the #2 QB in TDs, Throwell.

I guess so, I didn't boost my CB until the end either and had no problems still being #1 in my league. IMO that's evidence of a solid player that has a good team behind him (as if we didn't already know). Without the team, those numbers aren't even possible. Put him in Oakland and he spends his time on his back or trying to run down CBs heading for the endzone.

Agreed. What I think is pretty sweet about Dorsey is he gave up the ball to 2 backs who rushed for 2000 and 1000.
