Due to Bort nerfing the wrap-up skill for next season, what do you think is an adequate tackling value for an SS next season where he won't miss any tackles?

This season my SS had 1 missed tackle with a tackling value of 25-27 would 35 tackling be adequate for next season (no missed tackles)?

i missed 5 with 39.

on balanced the whole season though.

and they all happened in one game which leads me to believe that I was part of Bort's experiment with next season's changes.

I am always on wrap up which I plan to be for next season as well. I still forced 4 fumbles when on wrap up though so it's not like I am losing stats. This season I got 80 tackles made and 1 missed tackle.

But with the changes do you think 35 on tackling set to wrap-up is enough to not miss any tackles next season (with 35 strength)?

hard to say now untill bort makes the changes would be nice if we could see how they would work during scrimage games

Well hopefully 35 is enough so I can focus on reaching the strength soft cap (already done it for agility and speed).

Dont forget, that offensive players will boost too! As we grow in development they do.

They should make some kind of law against that...

I think it will have to be a matter of wait and see. It won't be until the changes are in place and we have a few matches under our belts that we will be able to come up with any useful numbers.

I'd say 35 is a good starting point. We can see how the changes affect things and then adjust from there.

Agree. I wouldn't go past 35 Str 35 Tkl until we know exactly how it'll settle out.

Wait a couple games into next season before you do anything to see if the changes really will affect you.

When considering how much tackling you need, factor in the league you're in. I'm in USA AAA #1 and have 32 tackling (level 20 SS). I made 93 tackles with 8 missed tackles. Several of those missed tackles came from RB Larry Smith (look him up, he's a beast). I'll have to work on tackling a bit. Oh also, I'm waiting until the last day of this season to boost, so I may have missed less than 8 tackles if I boosted at the beginning of the season.

I agree with this...It depends on which league you are in.

Im in the USA A4. My guy is always on wrap-up and his tackling is 40 and 25 str(1 FF).
He made 77 tackles this season, but missed 7.
It depends on the backs you face.

I am in USA AA #3 and I have 17 str. and 28 tackling and I had 38 tackles and I missed 4. I was a FS playing SS. Typically my guy came in a tackled the RB as he was trying to juke the LBs.
