Hey all in BBB #2,

Due to a network error (see http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=584198&page=last#4426750 ) certain games in this league got simmed twice, causing some data to get overwritten for pbp and game stats.

There are two options: I can keep the standings where they are, but stats and pbps will be missing/screwy, or I can reset and resim all games in the league, reset the stats and everybody's energy, etc.

I'm thinking just keep the standings, since that means the least amount of headache over it? Votes from team owners?

I noticed this, we won both times.

So I'd rather not lose in a 3rd game.

I would prefer to re-run. I have a HB I promised a 1000 yard season and he's sitting at 985 right now. We pummelled the opponent both times and should do so again. For the player's sake, I think they'd rather have something (stats) to take away from the game.

hmm, yeah, noticed some inconsistencies, like the scores on our team
page being different from the scores on the league page.

our owner is away camping, but i'm the gm. of course we'd like a
re-sim since we lost! but yeah, to be honest we'll make do with
whatever's easiest. it's not a huge deal.

i didn't look close enough to see if the 2 sims had any inconsistencies
in terms of the playoff picture. one of the sims (the one on the league
page) has a lot of close games tho. eek.

from what i've seen, the only thing that would change is scores & stats. i don't believe the issue would affect the overall picture.

i'm not a team owner so i don't get a vote but that's just what i noticed.

will the players still gain exp regardless?

Will we get XP on a full game of snaps?

Yeah, they already got that processed.

i say keep them....my HB was easily going to win the rushing title....i was over a hundred yards over the closest guy behind me...now...8 yards....if we re-sim......it might get all screwwy AGAIN and not give me what i'm entitled to(thinking of myself,huh).......yeah we lost....but were still in the playoffs and no team got eliminated from the playoffs because of it......(I THINK)

Some of the games just started twice and overwrote all the PBP.

I would rather have the correct stats based on what the final game 16 game is. If that's the first simmed game, the second simmed game, or a third simmed game it doesn't matter, but I want the actual season stats and player stats to match up with what the season scores between teams actually shows.

I noticed the same with our games, my vote goes towards keeping them

I presume that the teams you played against would feel differently =)
