edit-the subject should have been agilty/str, not sp

Agility helps you shed (or avoid) blocks, correct? I have a backup OLB who I am trying to increase his ability to get past blocks. My stregth is a bit low but I have read that agility will allow you to get around blockers. And I know it helps in pass coverage so I want that too. Since my stregth is lower I was just going to train it and spend my SP on agility (since Ill get bigger gains training str). How much str do I need at a minimum though for OLB. My current str is high 20's and agility is low 40's. I do get a bit over .3 str per training though so it will go up fairly quick. I am level 17 right now and have my 5 SP for that to spend.

Do you think I can get away with just training STR?

Oh my, if you want to get past blocks pump some points into STR. I mean, your AGI is fine for now but to get past blocks you should really pump that STR up. That'll help you engage your blockers and use your hands better to work off of blocks. I've recently rearranged my equipment to put an extra few points into STR and it's really payed off well for me.

Maybe continue to train in STR through the playoffs (while you're getting that .3-ish per night), spend your current 5 SP's elsewhere, and then dump some points into STR when you boost early next season.

My guys are are not much over 40+ STR and have no problem getting off blocks. Don't know what that says for the future, but it works at the moment.
