I'm wondering how strength can help a WR. A player on my team wants to know if it helps to prevent the secondary from ripping the ball out of his hands, therefore avoiding either a int or a forced fumble. I personally was also wondering if it helps to block corner backs down field on run plays or get separation on jam coverages. Any level 15+ receivers out there with high strength that might have a perspective on this?

I know it helps blocking, that much is sure. It will also help him possibly break the tackle of a corner for a bigger gain. I'm pretty sure it helps ball security a bit but I'm not sure about that one.

My WR doesn't have much strength so I can't really tell you more than that.

I called Mike Irvin and he said it helps you push off.

Watch WR Crowder push the CB back:

This happened multiple other times and is due to high strength. Granted we played a cupcake team, but you can obviously still see the effects.

Thanks BDizzle80. Have you noticed a decrease in fumbling, dropped passes or interceptions?

Maybe you could PM me a hint of what his strength might be around

I've been experimenting with a high strength build, but I don't get many throws my way in the D-league and half of them that go to me are uncatchable because of a horrible QB. That said there are a couple of times where I have been able to snatch deflections from the opposing players.

The play below is an example and I had around 15 less strength because it was about 4 levels ago before I boosted and such. Builds open if anyone cares. Once I get money I'm shifting all my EQ into strength. My next levels will go mostly towards speed and catching now that Im 1 point from the soft cap in strength.

My WR with high strength had like 16 broken tackles in 5 games. I like him a lot.
