I plan on redoing my custom equipment to go to the possession receiver tree due to the latter 3 on the speedster tree not being too useful, and I plan on training up Jumping/Strength/Carrying.


what should I actually spend my next skill points on though?

SPs on Vision and Catching .

If you redo your equipment I would say a couple points in First step / Quick Cut / Route Running would be nice .

Everyone I talk to about catching always says you only really need 30-35

also for quick cut, does it work while running routes, or only when you have the ball

You only really need 25 or so catching to be decent. If you want to look at the other topics in the WR forum about catching, and you research what many people think catching can do for your WR, then you'll see that 30-35 wouldn't be enough for that.

Quick cut will work while running routes.

People who say that about catching only think that because they don't have a lot of drops. I'm 99.9% sure catching has a much bigger effect than dropped balls though.

Plus no-one knows the perfect build yet.

Higher catching gives you a bigger "catchzone" I think .

And generally you loose less speed when catching , if it's higher .

And yes , quick cut does help while running routes as well .
