Does anyone know why a team is still completing many of their passes with a CB right on top of the WR? We are currently having this problem. I'm wondering if anyone might know what attributes they should work on to help stop this. I was thinking: vision, jumping and strength (to help them not be knocked around easily), and the shutdown SA.

your CBs suck. no. If they can keep up maybe they cant jump high enough to swat it? Vision might also help?

jumping and catching, pretty straightforwardly (I hope that's a word)

Swat ball is big for this. On a pass that would be otherwise completed, it allows you to swat the ball loose.

thanks, that helps. I've also heard the higher vision may hurt. I don't know if this is true, does anyone know? And, if it does currently, will it change next season?

THere is also an argument for strength on pass deflections. Should allow you to manhandle the receiver a bit and cause deflections
