what do they exactly do.. so many people say different stuff for pass focus. everybody tells me Defensive ends are suppose to focus on pass

From what I understand the focus just helps with the initial read. Like if it is a pass play and you have pass focus you will read that it is a pass quicker, but if its a run and you have pass focus your more likely to be fooled by the play. Thats how i understand it but i could be wrong.

choosing any of the 3 will give you the same performance about 90% of the time give or take 1 or so tackle
to make this more clear, choosing pass/run/no bonus wont affect your performance much

If you really want to think about it whichever one you choose should depend more on your opponent. If they pass more, focus on the pass, if they run more, focus on the run and balance it out if they're put up similar numbers in both areas.
Theres no point being a defensive end watching the pass if they run the ball 70% of the time ;-)
