*grin* Did you base your East predictions on what would make next week the biggest jumbled mess possible?

Most of the games this week aren't that close, match-ups wise, but I predict Salem vs. Gulf State will be the dogfight of the week, as Salem looks to clinch and Gulf State looks to stay alive, and the Hammerheads will play Vice City closer than 12 points.

If I remember right, Mambas vs. Hammerheads was one of last season's best games too. The Hammerheads could easily have been in the playoff mix with just a couple more bounces this season, and they're playing for pride now.

Only reason Gulf State vs. Salem is any more interesting is that both teams there are playing for their playoff lives.

Yeah, if the Mambas or Gulf State lose today making the playoffs is almost impossible. On the other hand, if either or both win today, both have favorable matchups next week, and should finish 9-7.

Anchorage vs. Midwest is going to be a war. The game has a lot of playoff/seeding implications.

Honestly, a little glad to see we're the underdog...we like that role.

I think the Makos/Hustlers game is going to be closer than that and could go either way.

I totally agree. Last season's game was a classic, and I think all but decided final playoff seeding. This season the Makos are pretty well set, but we're still expecting one of the games of the season here.
