i'd be shocked if we get "eaten up" by LA unless they return a KO/PR or INT/Fumble. I forsee a closer game that you are thinking as our D matches up with their O, both teams strengths.
I guess you don't remember that you scored all of 1 offensive TD and a bunch of long FG's, and I was still at OLB, since the move to MLB. nobody has come close to seeing 165 yds rushing. I actually like the matchup if we meet again.

Wow, several problems with that...
1) Of course no one has run on you since then, there are only two teams in our league that really try to pound the ball, and you're playing the other one next.
2) Our passing game was the worst we've had all year and it was before Speedy boosted and before I fixed my WR, and we still put up 19 on offense. We're not going to throw for 400, but I seriously doubt we only get 177 on 41 attempts with 2 picks again. Even against the Reign's very good secondary we were more efficient.
3) You guys scored a whopping 6 points, and that was before we added another legit CB to make our pass D a lot tougher (only game he's played so far is Rhine). It's pretty damn hard to win that way.
See, I can make gripes/excuses too.

having four 4th and 1's and kicking on all of them when we would go for them AND get them if allowed isn't something to hang your hat on, the game chose that not us. (I will edit this to say not on the FG's, but those situations in general)
When the score is 26-6 there are no "clinching" TD's, you would have been beaten even without that.

Pt. 1) for a conference you claim only 2 teams run in, there are an awful lot of rushing yds being put up
Pt. 2) I guess while your O got better, our D must have gotten worse, in fact, we gave back levels, we are all down to level 4 now as opposed to 12-15 back then. Man, we should have thought about that!! ARRGH!!!!!
Pt. 3), your D is awesome, and you totally shut our O down. Nobody denied it.
Even with our D incomplete, and out team and defensive chemistry at about a 12, and before we boosted and added a player, you scored 1 td.....I was actually not upset about that game considering you were at 100 for chemistry across the board and how good you are. I was when i saw the score, but then when i saw the stats and watched the game, it was better....that 165 rushing against us still stings.

Yeah, only two teams in the west really try to run the ball consistently. We average 48.8 carries, LA averages 45.5, the next closest team is South Otto at 36.3. We don't just run when we're up like a lot of teams. We're also the only two teams in the conference that average over 3.6 yards a carry (and we're comfortably over that). Everyone else leans towards the pass and will have games where they do very little on the ground. For instance, Splitter had a whopping 9 carries in the game against you.
Your D wasn't THAT bad when you played us, it was actually somewhat close to ours ratings-wise just like it is now. We were both 36's at the time, it's not like we had 18's to your 12's. I remember myself being somewhat nervous at the time because Thomason hadn't boosted yet and was still kinda suspect and we didn't blow you out ratings-wise. Things have worked out well for us all year though with really only one close game (could be different on a re-match, we made one iffy experiment that game that backfired and made it closer than it should have been won't happen again). It takes a really good game from the opponent to beat us, and that makes our chances pretty good.
