A few things were decided this week, 2 teams virtually eliminated:Manhattan in the West and the Midgets from the East, while Cybermagination stays alive. The Hurricanes continue to roll on their collision course this week with Pittsburgh, who if they lose out and Miami were to win out would lose their season long #1 seed in the East. Over on the West, its still anyone's game for every playoff position, except the #1 seed, locked up by a stout Panther Hollow team.

I'm tempted to just go over and predict for only the contenders but why start that now i guess, Eh? So here they are...

West:

Lightning(8-6) @ Ponkos(14-0): Panther Hollow is allowing less than a TD and an extra point per game so far this season, Omaha needs to score points here, and it wont be easy. Win or lose Lightning will most likely end with a good enough record to push them in a 7 or 8 seed.
LP Prediction:43-7 Panther Hollow.
My Prediction:28-12 Panther Hollow.

Bulldogs(8-6) @ Scorpions(9-5):Phoenix's impressive win over Bakersfield last week, all but wrapped up a playoff spot for them. Sactown, fighting for a spot look to play spoiler to this red hot Phoenix team, still in the hunt for a home playoff game, with some help.
LP Prediction:15-12 Phoenix.
My Prediction:29-27 Phoenix.

Nanananas(8-6) @ Vipers(11-3):A Vipers win means an almost guaranteed 2 seed. Should Bakersfield pull this off They would pretty much eliminate Sactown. Lets all hope that doesnt happen. ;p
LP Prediction:25-11 Death Valley.
My Prediction:32-18 Death Valley.

Gladiators(10-4) @ Bombers(8-6): Another big game here, Guadalajara has just about locked up a home game, even if they lose here, on the other hand Birmingham after its heart breaker near come from behind loss to Austin last game is in a dog fight with Bakersfield, Sactown and Omaha for the final few spots.
LP Prediction:23-13 Guadalajara.
My Prediction:18-9 Guadalajara.

Packers(11-3) @ Rampage(6-8): With Manhattan's hopes crushed by the Bulldogs last week, they look to play spoiler here. The Packers cant take this Rampage team for granted though, they have Pit staring at them from the distance next week.
LP Prediction:31-14 Austin.
My Prediction:37-21 Austin.

Isotopes(9-5) @ Twisters(3-11):Albuquerque continues its stroll here, ending with a 11-5 record, and what looks like a 5 seed.
LP Prediction:25-8 Albuquerque.
My Prediction:30-7 Albuquerque.

War Eagles(0-14) @ Birds (2-12):Whitehall's losing streak could end here, the Birds have their 3rd owner of the season and haven't won since their week 5 upset of the Packers.
LP Prediction:18-15 Philadelphia.
My Prediction:21-10 Whitehall.

Illegal Aliens(2-12) @ Shaggy Bevos(2-12): Shaggy's a Favorite for the second time in a row, could their streak begin right here? Likely if it does, with Jacktown on the horizon it wont go much further, but its a start.
LP Prediction:20-10 Texas.
My Prediction:30-17 Texas.

East on next post…

Hurricanes(12-2) @ Steel Riders(14-0):Pit's end of the season schedule so far, racking up wins over the Avengers, Evolution and the Gangstas may be one of the most impressive stretches of any team in the league. Miami looks to make it come to a screeching halt, riding a 9 game win streak themselves. If Miami could pull this off, with Austin next week for Pit, it could become really interesting out East.
LP Prediction:22-13 Pittsburgh.
My Prediction:30-21 Pittsburgh.

Thunderhawks(5-9) @ Bomb Squad(11-3): Brooklyn's top ranked Pass game will look to strike fast on this Indy team, who believes anything is possible after their win over the disappointing Midgets last game. Brooklyn needs to win out to solidify it's standing and hope for Pit to hold off Miami to lock up its 2 seed. They hold the Tie Breaker over Arlington should they end with the same record.
LP Prediction:51-7 Brooklyn.
My Prediction:30-9 Brooklyn.

Dirty Cheetahs(3-11)@ Hogeyes(8-6):Iowa's final 2 games come against teams with a combined 3 wins, and Dirty owns all 3. This will be a blowout for sure though.
LP Prediction:79-7 Iowa.
My Prediction:255-0 Iowa.

Gangstas(10-4) @ Storm (9-5):These two teams are likely to end up as the 5/6 seeds, this game really doesnt have much meaning behind it except who gets the 3 seed, or who gets the 4 seed in the first round. Either way, I dont know who i would rather play if i were them; Arlington, Miami, or Brooklyn?
LP Prediction:19-10 Chicago.
My Prediction:13-10 Jacktown.

Dreams(7-7) @ Midgets (5-9):The Midgets are on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, while the Dreams still have a glimmer of hope if they could manage to win out, and with the Birds from the West next, this game is all that could stand between them and the post season if Enghave trips up somewhere. The Midgets would love nothing more than to be spoilers at this point.
LP Prediction:16-14 Midgets.
My Prediction:21-10 Midgets.

Evolution (8-5) @ Carnage(0-14): Evolution must win out to possibly make the playoffs, after Chicago's win over them last game. This should be a cake walk after all, though.
LP Prediction:64-3 Enghave.
My Prediction:72-0 Enghave.

Mountaineers (4-10) @ Hawks(3-11): Hawks put up 191 last week, this week wont be anywhere close to that, Marquette has shown promise after their win last week over the surprisingly dismal Midgets.
LP Prediction: 18-12 New Berlin.
My Prediction:25-17 Marquette.

Avengers (11-3) @ Dreams (2-12): Boston looks to prove that they can play with the big boys here, but Arlington isn't going to take it easy tuning up for the playoffs and fighting for a 2 seed.
LP Prediction:69-2 Arlington.
My Prediction:40-3 Arlington.

Flame away!

another correction - if we were to win, and that's an if, pittsburgh would still be the first seed in the east

I get you all messed up, you have no idea how many times i have to delete Brooklyn and Birmingham from each other's games...Seriously, "Brooklyn Bombers" is what im going to refer to you both as! or maybe, "Birmingham Bomb Squad". Your names are too similar. ;x

Thats not true, you could, Pit has Austin next. If they lose out, you have the head to head advantage, right?

I think it took the Packers three weeks before we convinced the guys doing the predictions that we could win games too. Lets just hope that when they bet against us against Pit that we get some good mojo from it like the first couple of weeks
