ESPN Sports CEnter Studio (Los Angeles, CA) - The 2-1 Jersey Dragons have rebounded well from the disappointment of a one-point loss on the opening week of this very short season, and are now in the hunt for a playoff spot in the South East Asia AA division. Our reporter caught up with a few of the players recently to see what their feelings were like before their next game against the 1-2 Kuma Monster Squad.

Reporter Gillian Ireland: I'm standing here with the starting quarter back of the Jersey Dragons, Go Real Long at their final practice session before the game against the Kuma Monster Squad. Mr Long, in the first three games, you're averaging about 200 passing yards per game, and you have not been sacked or thrown any interceptions. To what do you attribute these numbers? Are you just that good, or are your supporting cast (recievers/o-line/running backs) what makes you look so good in the pocket?

QB Long: I'd have to say the line is the biggest factor. If it wasn't for them fat bastards I'd be running for my life. It helps having great WR's on the team as well. Yac Attack is sick, man. He just catches everything. And Sticky? Well he spreads the field. But I'd have to say that yes I am that damn good. Why do you think they drafted me #1?

GI: In deed. You have a game coming up against the Kuma Monster Squad this week. They're coming off a loss against the same team that beat you in Week 1. What do you think your chances are against them?

GRL: Our chances are great. I have been looking over film and it looks like I can get 300 yards and 4 TDs on them.

GI: That's a bold prediction right there, from the starting quarterback. I also found corner back Absolute Shutdown and got to ask him a few questions. Mr Shutdown, in the fi..

Absolute Shutdown: It's just Shutdown. No Mr. Just Shutdown.

GI: Oookay, then. Shutdown, In the first few games, the opposing teams seems to be looking for targets that are not in your area, which seems to affect your stats so far. What's your thoughts on that? Are the individual stats more important than team success?

AS: Shutdown just wants to win. Shutdown cares aboout stats but shutdown would rather win. Shutdown says fine dont throw it my way. Shutdown will find other ways to get the ball.

GI: Right, and you do get the ball other ways as you're also a kick returner. This week, you're going up against a QB that's got only slightly lower stats than your QB Go Real Long. Kuma's QB Ola Aasen hasn't thrown any interceptions this season, and his offensive line hasn't given up any sacks. What can you do in the secondary to shut him down in this game?

AS: Well as always I'm going to shut down my side of the field. He hasn't been sacked? Ha! Well I will put him on his back. Either me or Dr. Feelgood!

GI: Okay, then. How would you describe your chances this week against the Kuma Monster Squad? Prediction of final score?

AS: We feel great. Film shows they are a weak team that over acheives. I'm looking 28-0 with 3 ints and 2 sacks with 6 hurries.

GI: There you have it. The Dragons seem very confident ahead of their game against the Monster Squad. It'll be an interesting game to watch. Back to the studio.
