I've seen a couple elusive builds where RBs have agility lower than I would expect for their level, yet their SAs like Juke and Headfake seem to active relatively often.

Does anyone have any idea if Vision contributes to elusive SA activation rate?

Juke and Headfake are really good SAs because as of right now a lot of Defenders have lower agility and vision than their other abilities. And those SAs take advantage of that. Once the D players attributes even out some then those SAs wont have as much impact as they do now.

I understand. I was wondering if Vision alone helps activate those SAs? Agility seems to, but I can't tell whether or not Vision contributes.

Ah, I see. Umm whether vision is in the code for the SAs, that i do not know. My estimated guess would be yes, for the SAs that might require it. Head Fake, Juke, Q-Cut, and maybe Spin. All those SAs are determining which direction your player is heading, thus requiring vision.

Like I said thats my estimated guess based on logic, but then again this game doesnt run on logic (Like agility counting as Acceleration for example) for the most part.

Indeed. I've heard mixed things about agility acting as acceleration, is that confirmed to be true?

I remember reading it on a post from Admin but I was looking for the post for one of my teams and I cant find it anywhere. It was a while back so it might be lost in the junk, but Im 90% sure that agility is also acceleration.

I've heard that before. I remember seeing a post where a guy tested a WR by putting a ton of points into Agility and basically watching the replay to see if he accelerated better. He claimed it did nothing, but as I recall, it was a far from objective test.

the way i understand the SA's, which is admittedly different from everyone else, is that agility does NOT help headfake/juke like everyone thinks

headfake and juke work SOLELY on the opponents agility and vision

So why does the juke description say you need agility for it to work properly? simple.. you need to stop to juke. In order for you to recover from juke effectively, you need to have a good acceleration from your stop. this also seems very much in line with why there is no mention of agility at all in the headfake description, because the HB is never forced to pause in headfake

cue claims of my insanity

I've understood that it's activated by the difference between your and the opponent's stats. That is, if my RB has 50 agility and a linebacker has 35, 15 points is the difference.
I'm not sure that's right, but it makes sense to me. It also makes sense when you see elusive backs like Tea Baggins cut a defense apart when they're lower lvl. The difference in gap between their stats would be larger.

I've also heard that Juke doesn't activate until higher levels of agility. Presumably, too high for any of the RBs on GLB at their current level. So apparently, there might be a minimum stat level for certain SAs to activate.

Of course, that's all guesstemation.

in my opinion, its good to have both.
If you have good vision, it will help you by getting out of the way if your like an elusive back with your good agility. which both triggers the SA HAHAH maybe
