What you guys think? He is really good. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be like Reggie Bust!

he'll screw up off the field too much to have a large impact beyond college

Another thing, 5'8'' 170 lbs is too small to be a NFL featured back. He'll make the pros, but at best he'll be a Maurice Jones-Drew/Warrick Dunn-like back. He could very easily turn out to be just another Darren Sproles

I hope he does well, because he's extremely talented by the looks of things, but that's vs college teams - they're nowhere near the caliber of the pros...

Besides that, players in college who're hyped this much usually get to full of themselves to do well, and wind up being a T.O. type guy that's just a problem, and nobody wants em

He's no Adrian Peterson. That guy is a beast and if anyone is the next Barry Sanders, it's "All Day".

QFT

As a Texans fan I remember wishing we had the first pick in the '07 draft instead of the '06 draft because I wanted AP. Of course this was when it was a sure thing that we were going to take Bush with the first pick.

Today, I wouldn't trade Mario for either of them.

But, if AP can stay healthy he will go down as one of the great RB's in NFL history. IMHO, he has the tools to be better than Barry was.

I would have to disagree Dal, Barry Sanders is the greatest rb of all time, no argument needed.

A lot of stat whores tend to like to argue it, therefore those of us who KNOW the truth, that he IS the greatest, must add in "arguably" so we don't have to sit there and argue over and over

I live near Detroit....

There is no 'arguably' about it....

Barry did magic where no magic could be found...... every week.

Barry = #1 RB Ever........

Link

#1 Walter Payton
#2 Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, Bo Jackson, Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, gale sayers, emmitt smith (because of the rushing record, even though he benefited from one of the best offensive lines in football history during his prime)

all of the #2 guys could pretty much only run over or run around defenders, "sweetness" could do whatever was necessary
