Here's the playoff picture after 13 games.

The number in {brackets} next to each team is their "magic number." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_number_%28sports%29 ) Any combination of wins by your team or losses by the team you need to finish ahead of means you clinch a playoff spot.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
1 Akron Assassins 13-0 W [CLINCHED 1st rnd at home] {1 for 2nd rnd at home / 2 for conf title}
2 Alpine Golfers 12-1 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {1 for 1st rnd at home / 2 for 2nd rnd at home}
3 Chicago Bruins 11-2 L [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {3 for 1st round at home}
4 Memphis Ghetto Dawgs 11-2 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {3 for 1st round at home}
5 North Carolina Lighthouses 10-3 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {4 for 1st round at home}
6 Tampa Vipers 7-6 W {3}
7 New Orleans Eagles 7-6 L {3}
8 Klamath Falls Grizzlies 6-7 L {3}

9 Philadelphia Brokebacks 6-7 W {4}
10 Schenectady Comets 5-8 L {5}
11 South Beach Tokers 5-8 W {5}
12 Richmond Speed 5-8 L {5}
13 Denver Stallions 3-10 L {6}

14 Orlando Mambas 1-12 [ELIMINATED]
15 Elk Rapids Elks 1-12 [ELIMINATED]
16 The Forgotten One's 1-12 [ELIMINATED]

Akron has clinched a top 4 finish, and is very close to wrapping up a top-2 finish or even the conference title. North Carolina has punched their ticket to the playoffs and is hoping to sneak into the top 4 for home field in the 1st round.

At the other end, South Beach stayed alive with their win, while Denver is holding out hope for a tie with Klamath Falls, who they defeated back in game 2. It's pretty much the only chance Denver has at this point.

WESTERN CONFERENCE
1 San Diego Marauders 13-0 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFFS] {2 for conference title}
2 Albuquerque Mustangs 11-2 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {3 for 1st round at home}
3 Anchorage Seawolves 11-2 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {3 for 1st round at home}
4 Omaha Dogs 10-3 W [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {3 for 1st round at home}
5 Reno 911 10-3 L [CLINCHED PLAYOFF SPOT] {4 for 1st round at home}
6 Hyborian Divine Messengers 9-4 L {1}
7 Chattanooga Quarantine 9-4 W {1}
8 Rocky Mountain Rampage 7-6 L {3}
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
9 San Francisco Wildcats 6-7 L {5}
10 Houston Apollos 6-7 W {5}
11 Kalamazoo Wolverines 4-9 L {6}
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
12 Corvallis Furburgers 2-11 {10} [ELIMINATED]
13 Oakyville Nungas 2-11 [ELIMINATED]
14 Dakota Ruffians 2-11 [ELIMINATED]
15 Trojan Warriors 2-11 {10} [ELIMINATED]
16 Ambridge Bridgade 0-13 [ELIMINATED]

San Diego is in the driver's seat... if they win their next game against Albuquerque, they'll clinch the conference title!

Reno and Omaha have both clinched, Omaha by beating Reno, and Reno thanks to Rocky Mountain and San Fran both losing.

At the other end, Kalamazoo's last chance is to win their last 3 and to hope for a tie somehow with Rocky Mountain. That's a slim chance, though, with their next game against Anchorage.

Not to be nit picky but must not factor in tie breakers into these. Since we beat both San Fran and Houston the best they can do is tie our record and we would get the head to head tie break so we should be a clinch.

"We" being the Hyborian Divine Messengers, I assume.

There's still an outside chance of getting caught up in a multi-team tie, and you still have Rocky Mountain left to play. That's why I haven't called it "clinched" yet for you guys.

Ha ha yeah the messengers I was just saying even if we lose out and everyone won out we would still be ranked 8th on account of the tie breakers with San Fran and Appolos would be the only teams tied with us and we have the head to head victories. No worries though I just enjoy the time you guys spend to give us this info
