Warrior General Games

Three weeks left in the season, and theres still not a single playoff seed decided, the only ones close are Panther Hollow and Pittsburgh both still undefeated. In the West we have 7 teams within 2 games of each other and 6 of those are matched up within one another. The East's battle is more for the top seeds, and a 3 team battle for seeding at the bottom of the playoff picture.

The West this week gets interesting, 4 games of the playoff battling teams all scheduled against each other. Guadalajara , Albuquerque and Panther Hollow all draw easy games, while the rest battle it out.


West:

Ponkos(13-0) @ Illegal Aliens(2-11): The Aliens dont end the year easy, with Panther Hollow then Arlington on the horizon, and the Ponkos aren't looking to slow down their high powered offense or Defense this week,
LP Prediction:102-2 Panther Hollow.
My Prediction:58-3 Panther Hollow.

Rampage (6-7) @ Bulldogs(7-6):Sactown's morale cant be too high after the schlacking they took at the hands of Austin last week, but if they want to make the final playoff push they need this game. The only team that needs a win this week more is Manhattan. This is a scary matchup that could go either way.
LP Prediction:23-21 Sactown.
My Prediction:18-13 Sactown.

Vipers(10-3) @ Lightning (8-5): Omaha's offense looks to rebound after being held to just 2 FGs last week at the hands of Phoenix, bad thing is Death Valley is not missing a note the last 2 games and are on a roll, searching out that 2 seed.
LP Prediction:29-13 Death Valley.
My Prediction:21-17 Death Valley.

Twisters (3-10) @ Gladiators (9-4): OKC's 3-10 record is deceiving, they've played within one score of 5 of the teams battling it out for the final playoffs spots, Guadalajara looks to end its season on a 5 game win streak, and it could start here, they need some help from Bakersfield or Omaha to get the 2 seed though.
LP Prediction:28-8 Guadalajara.
My Prediction:42-17 Guadalajara.

Scorpions(9-4) @ Nanananas (8-5): Bakersfield cant afford a loss here, with Death Valley next week. Phoenix wants to win out but after this hard fought game, Sactown and an extremely good Hurricanes team stands in the way. Phoenix has only allowed 8 TDs all season it wont be easy to get it across the line.
LP Prediction:14-12 Phoenix.
My Prediction:21-12 Phoenix.

Bombers (8-5) @ Packers(10-3):With Chicago from the East and Guadalajara after the Packers, Birmingham cant afford a loss this week, and the Packers look to seriously damper the hopes that are still there. They are second in the West in points per game, and points allowed per game, the Bombers are in for a possible heart-breaker here.
LP Prediction:22-13 Austin.
My Prediction:30-7 Austin.

Birds (2-11) @Isotopes (8-5):The last 3 games for Albuquerque should be a walk in the park, ending with a 11-5 record, the only question is: Will they get a home playoff game?
LP Prediction:49-7 Albuquerque.
My Prediction:72-0 Albuquerque.

Shaggy Bevos(1-12) @ War Eagles (0-13): Shaggy's first time being a favorite, Just like Boston last week,they don't disappoint, or do they? Whitehall has a chemistry advantage.
LP Prediction:14-12 Texas.
My Prediction:30-21 Texas.

Steel Riders(13-0) @ Gangstas (10-3): Jacktown's huge win over Iowa last week may be what it needed to finish its tough remaining conference schedule. With Chicago next week and the match up this week vs Pit, they very well could be looking at a 11-5 record when season comes to an end. Pit looks to carry its unbeaten season into next weeks power house game against the Hurricanes, but cant take this Gangstas team for granted.
LP Prediction:46-9 Pittsburgh.
My Prediction:28-21 Pittsburgh.

Carnage(0-13) @ Avengers(10-3): Just like the Isotopes in the West, the Avengers final 3 games come against teams with a combined 4 wins, their 13-3 record could be enough for the 2 seed.
LP Prediction:93-2 Arlington
My Prediction:210-0 Arlington.

Hogeyes(8-5)@ Hurricanes(11-2):The Hurricanes look to extend their winning streak to 9, if that happens, this Iowa team is almost guaranteed a 10-6 record enough to make the playoffs. The Hurricanes on the other hand Have Pit and Phoenix from the west, a loss here and they're looking at a possible 11-5 and a 5 seed or lower.
LP Prediction:19-14 Miami.
My Prediction:30-17 Miami.

Bomb Squad(10-3) @ Mountaineers (3-10): Brooklyn's final 3 games could put them in a tie for the 2 seed, and they hold the Tie breaker over Arlington.The Mountaineers win over the Midgets last week, maybe the biggest upset of the season on paper, only makes them more dangerous this week. Brooklyn cant afford a mistake here if they want the 2 seed.
LP Prediction:47-5 Brooklyn.
My Prediction:28-10 Brooklyn.

Midgets(5-8) @ Thunderhawks (4-9):The Midgets need to put last weeks loss to the Mountaineers behind them, and this game should be just what they need to forget it.
LP Prediction:39-6 Midgets.
My Prediction:23-6 Midgets.

Storm (8-5) @ Evolution (8-5): Both these teams have played the top teams VERY tough, and both lost to the Steel Riders in a close fashion, Enghave by 2 last week, and Chicago in OT, they both know how to play games that mean something, and this one is no different, Chicago's Defense will look to make the offense of a surging Enghave team make some mistakes.
LP Prediction:14-9 Chicago.
My Prediction:21-21 Tie.

Hawks (2-11) @ Cheetahs(3-10): Hawks dominate this match up, Cheetahs are building for the future and this is a stat padding game for the rival Hawks.
LP Prediction: 23-18 New Berlin.
My Prediction:147-0 New Berlin.

Bears (2-11) @ Dreams (6-7): The Dreams still could win out and sneak in at the 8 seed, the Midgets loss last week made it more reachable as well. The Bears look to end those Hopes, riding the momentum of last week's win over the Carnage.
LP Prediction:41-4 Cybermagination.

Wow...you say the Twisters are better than they look on paper and that they stay within 1 score of the opponents, but you still give a wider berth to the Gladiators than the LP does...I don't get it.

I'm still trying to make it off the bench over there...kinda hard to be the playmaker I want when I average 20 plays a game...and most of them have been special teams. Oh, the life of a backup...haha

Guadalajara is a powerhouse in the West, their 4 losses come to teams with a combined 11 losses. It wouldnt be a stretch to say they put that many points up against you guys.
