Well Smithster, I support your right to be Canadian and I'm glad the United States is committed to defending your country. Perhaps one day Canada will again put people in Canadian government who understand free speech (all of it, even the unpleasant stuff) and the importance of defending a nation's people and its borders. Good luck to you and your country.

A) I vote Conservative, not Liberal...

B) does your country really support free speech or does you Glorious Overlord just sue everyone with a different take them him.

Little Canada has had many memorable moments in war just like USA has and we have supported the States initiatives more then you've defended ours. Name one in fact. We are too nice to get into wars on our own.

One last thing. If you leader wasn't a condescending dickhead and came to us as equals talking of the benefits of ten provinces joining the USA, I probably would have been someone to consider it but his 51 state BS and his overall bully vibe is something nobody should actively support IMO.

Enough of this shit though. I'd rather talk sports

So this is more about your feelings, rather than effective policy?

Isn't foreign relations (dealing with allies) effective policy, no? I believe that a President should be able to negotiate with other countries and the ability to do so does constitute effective policy to which Trump achieves by not negotiating but by brute force (yes using those terms). What Smithster stated is feelings about the policy as you put it is the way Trump was condescending towards Canada to seem to placate his home country after the imbecile opened his mouth how Canada was inferior in so many words. It's what he does and has always done whether in office or in business from what's been reported for decades now just on a larger scale in one of the most scrutinized positions you can be in in the world

Edit to also add: Larry I can say that I do respect you and have had several interactions with you in the forums on different things and it's always been amicable. While I don't agree with your views and beliefs, you have always been constant and I know what to expect from you when certain topics arise and you aren't swayed by the masses. Beliefs and opinions are great and make us all unique, but what the world is missing on a grander scale which is the absence of a moral compass and accountability as we see it day in and day out from a large perspective down to each and every daily interaction. It is sad to see how far we have all fallen as a human race, not just as individual countries, communities, and townships! I may criticize the current administration, but I will support those that are putting their lives on the line for what I believe is wrong and an ill conceived war that could have been handled in a much better fashion which stems from bad effective policy going back for decades. I am not a liberal nor a conservative, but a human being that has different beliefs, some of which I probably share the same with you as others we couldn't be further apart as that is both of our rights! I hope that one's differences do not shape the man or create a further divide, but the reemergence of morals and accountability will bring together a divided people all struggling to make sense of a world that is lost in darkness and descending to anarchy

Being a registered independent voter this is my take on the situation and items listed. First of all, any article written or televised by CNN is just utter BS and their TV ratings will tell you that as most people don't watch that station. A matter a fact most mainstream media is liberal and put their own spin on whatever they cover especially when they are talking about Trump. Trump seems to be a very arrogant person and not who I voted, but if I could only vote Republican or Democrat I would have been forced to vote for him as there is no such thing as a moderate democrat anymore and anyone the Dems try to put in Office is laughable and aren't competent enough to run the country IMO.....period.

Oh your spin on that BS CNN article was a cover up to the Trump-Epstein files, how ignorant. Bill Clinton even testified that he thought Trump had nothing to do with anything improper involving Epstein. You also have to remember Trump was friendly with the Clinton's back in the day and he was a Democrat and donated money to the Clinton foundation as well as Democratic committees. Some people here just need a history lesson is all.
