It's one of the only potential buffs QBs have for Pump Fake and it's useless. I'm not saying you should make it into "Quick Feet" for QBs but there's got to be a way to make it at least kind of viable

It's a Plateau only VA. I'm not sure that was the intent, but when you look at a Pro team for example

On the far right, you can see the ages are all over the place.
A team coming up from AAA for the first time would be Age 200

If you really wanted to chase it, you could make a dot on Day 1 of a season. Almost everyone would be 1 day older.

At the end of the description, it clarifies that all dots are treated the same age once they reach day 160. So, you've got it exactly backwards - it doesn't function anymore once dots hit plateau age, that's why the OP was saying it is useless.

I thought I was the only one who thought this VA was broken by the text description alone

EXACTLY. And at a time when everyone's builds basically look the same, you've got this VA that could help change things up and make a fake QB slightly more viable. It's such a waste

No, it's definitely useless. I mean, on the EXTREMELY rare occasion you built a dot on a day 1, I guess it could work for 4 seasons - if you decided to screw up your build by putting an early investment in Pump Fake.

they should just re-work it so that it fires against less famous defenders

I'm pretty sure this little pipe dream just went up in smoke. Bort Co. has bigger fish to fry right now....

But yeah a Fame requirement like Underdog would fit thematically and it seems like the code could be partially recycled at least.
