So I remember back in the day somebody suggested that giving your dot a team jersey number and an avatar somehow added a "morale" boost to that dot (or maybe it was for that team).

As crazy as it sounds, I seem to remember that assertion was never officially rebutted.

Your thoughts?

I also remember an idea that the more players on a team with jersey numbers, the better the replica jersey concession sales....also never a concrete yes/no that I know of....

Imo, anecdotally, my players with avatars are better than my players without avatars.

However RC won all the ships and doesn't avi his players, so that's probably proof enough to refute.

The real value of avatars is it makes you connect to the dot more and get more excited to log in and see him do well. So you're less likely to quit glb sooner or afk forget about training him.

Yes. And the thing in retrospect was that he was one of the early ones to "jam speed", but what he took speed to was a level that wouldn't get the Aces to Pro League in the current era. It was fast for that era, but not so much a few seasons later. I can't recall the name of the organization that eventually beat them?
