How do you properly use the Custom Slots?

The preset gameplans utilize the following depth chart setup:

QB = Passing QB
QB1 = Rushing QB - only used for Wildcat preset
QB2 = All QB's - this slot is seldom used for anything but handoffs/pitches
RB = Primary Rusher
RB1 = Power Back/Inside Runs
RB2 = Receiving/Scat Back
FB = Primary Rusher
FB1 = Blocker
FB2 = Receiving/Scat Back
TE/TE2 = Receiver
BTE/TE1 = Blocker

Someday I'm gonna learn to read things twice before posting. You would think that my experience as a carpenter would have this sh*t pounded into my head by now.

that's for the replies. i tried it this past game with decent success. one thing that i noticed was that my Scat Back did not get any playing time. he is the only one listed under RB2. do i need to add him to the RB tab as well?

Not unless you want him to have rushing carries.

I don't really want him to get carries. I just want him in the game when passing.

What offensive preset were you using? Are you using the correct depth chart if you have more than one and did you use the tactics calender?

I use a custom preset that I alter based on opposition and performance. I never change my depth chart. I do use the tactics calendar occasionally, but not for preseason.

You have to use one of the GLB custom presets (Outside, Big, Wildcat, etc) in order for the custom depth chart spots to be used. Otherwise it will just use your standard QB, RB, FB, TE spots.

Thanks for that. I had no idea that I had to use a preset. I just set it for balanced. I will see how it goes for my scrimmage later tonight.
