did anyone, including the op, actually watch the game? c'mon, if you are losing to cpu teams, your team sucks and you need to take a long, honest look at why your team sucks.
in no particular order:
- NO, your defense did NOT play well. you gave up 42 minutes of TOP, including a 7 minute drive in the 1st, and a 8 minute drive in the 4th. you gave up 4 yards a rush. and you couldnt consistently stop their passing game. look at each defensive play and figure out what went wrong.
https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=3114773&pbp_id=634416 stop the play just as the qb starts his throw, and you'll see 3 wide open receivers. he has his choice of nickel and diming you to death, because your defenders start the play playing so far off the LOS. IF you are going to play a 3-4, then you'd better have some LBs in run support.
- your ST needs some serious attention if you are giving up that yardage to a group of CPUs. a human team should always destroy a cpu team on ST. bort didnt understand his own st so cpu teams tend to play the wrong players in the wrong slots.
- in the immortal words of an asshole that shall remain nameless, "fix your dots". 1st, you only have 50 players. the cpu penalty only kicks in at 10 so sign those 5 cpu players. i see players that are pretty far below the rest of the team. with a few exceptions for specialty players, a level 49 has business being on a team with level 55+s. without seeing the builds and just watching the plays, i'd say that many of your builds are less than good. your offensive line could not move their defensive line at all. do all your players have their VAs? do they complement each other or does each player do their own thing?
- fix your roster. you have no blocking tackles and the blocking FB obviously didnt cut it. do you really want your worst players on the field on 2nd or 3rd and long? i am fairly certain a cou player at that level would play better than a human dot that is 6-9 levels behind. (hint: the more you pay a cpu, the better that they they
generally play). and if you are only going to rotate 3 at guards and/or tackles, then they all must be very good, otherwise, get that 4th one.
- one of the few times that i agree with theo, yes, cpu teams can be scouted. they retain the same AIs from their last human owner. therefore, they will play the same from game to game. personally, i believe that they keep their tagging too, altho i have no way to prove that, other than i've seen some cpu teams completely shut down rQBs. so i always checked to see if a cpu team was ever human owned against my current roster.
- i take it from the play calling that you do not use the adjust ai setting. i always loved it.
- know that you are in the crappiest time during the player build. your players should be switching over to light training in order to gain BTs and balance out their builds. CPUs are generally more well rounded at this stage. your QB is completing less than 50% for the season, so why are you running a pass heavy offense this season? watch your drop balls which tend to indicate builds that are out of balance.
