I have a gm'd team that just lost to an all/mostly all cpu team. We are mostly non cpu but a few positions. Has the value of cpu players gone up to the point where they are expected to be super competitive?
We are set to play a team that has an all cpu o-line. Their rating is through the roof compared to ours. Both our rosters effective levels are the same??
Any thoughts.

If the team is CPU owned with CPU players it does receive a boost.

So this is our matchup for our next game. Human owned, mostly cpu players. I'm looking at the "level" of their cpu dominated positions and they are off the charts. Our human owned positions don't compare. That's what is throwing me.

The level of CPUs doesn't mean anything, CPUs are assigned their skill levels before each game, based on the average level of human owned dots in the league that they're playing in.

Against a human owned team with mostly CPU players, you should be fine - that's the worst type of team possible (besides a team of dots in full decline), because of the penalty incurred by a human owner for having more than a certain number of CPU dots (I think it starts at 10 CPU dots, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that).

All that is nonsense if its against CPU players. Really those charts are fairly irrelevant anyhow, but when CPUs come into play, its all over the place. It really signifies nothing. On the other hand something is really off about your depth chart. Are you using a custom depth chart for each individual game?

Two things to keep in mind:

1.) CPU dots can scale up or down based on -- and I've never been 100% sure which -- either the average level of the league or the average level of the opposing team. In general, if one human dot matches up against one CPU dot, the human dot will be better -- but the CPU dot will be decent.

2.) If a *HUMAN*-owned team has 10 or more CPU dots on the roster, the CPU dots start to get penalized. That penalty gets worse the more CPU dots are on the roster.

Notice how I stressed *HUMAN*-owned team. Emphasis on HUMAN. If a team is *CPU*-owned, that team's CPU dots do NOT get penalized. It amazes me how many GLB team owners do not understand this crucial difference.

So, if you're playing a HUMAN-owned team full of CPU dots, expect an easy win.

If you're playing a CPU-owned team full of CPU dots, treat it like a real game, because they can beat you -- especially if your team isn't actually as good as you think it is. It's amazing how many team owners put a roster full of mediocre dots in a league full of human-owned CPU rosters, get to 8-0 which a bunch of 200-point wins, and think they're good -- until they face a CPU-owned team, lose by 20, and meltdown in the forums about it. (Not a shot at you, mjwags, you're being reasonable about it.)

The good news is that a CPU-owned team keeps using the AIs, Packages, and defensive plays of the previous owners. That means you can scout the CPU-owned team's previous games and know EXACTLY what they'regoing to do on O and D with 98% accuracy and 100% certainty that they're not gonna spring any surprises on you. So set your gameplans accordingly, and that should give you a big advantage.

Might be because one of those is supposed to be for relaxing yoga.

You might want to start with parting the horse's mane, and grasping the bird's tail (left and/or right)

If you press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A before signing a CPU dot, they automatically get WL level stats regardless of what the level of your league is.
