Does anyone know what the fattest position I can add power thru as an extra SA to? Oline and Dline won't let me, which is super annoying...

Found something. I think it falls under the category of Interesting, but Stupid.
I was checking to see if you could roll into some PT AEQ with a fat guy.
So I rolled up a new G and turned all the starting TPs into Light training, for max shopping rerolls.
The only SAs that ever came up were Pass Block and Run Block. There was also 2% Hold Block gear.
Most of the time, those were "empty" pieces, so in theory, they could get upgraded with a +3.

Any position. You just gotta know the trick.

Cmon Theo, don't leave me hanging here, I'm trying to make a really fat running back...

There is the " Show only recommended upgrades " button you can uncheck but it still doesn't give Power Thru for OLinemen

I mean, the OOP penalty for a lineman at running back would vastly outweigh any benefit, this is a non-starter.

Ok... so this is totally from memory (which means it has serious potential to be wrong). If wanting to keep it minimal, or non, OOP then I think FB can be heavier than a HB. (haven't built many of either so, again... just total memory here.)
If OOP isn't a thing for you then you can always get it through AEQ and, as Ryan points out, just make sure the 'Show only recommended upgrades' box is unchecked when building the AEQ. As Ryan also points out though, you can't get it as a Bonus SA... so maybe that extends into AEQ but I wouldn't be so sure on that and I wouldn't know as I've never tried to make an O-lineman into a running back. I have, however, use the AEQ trick to get certain SA's that I couldn't get normally. So I'd check that before giving up.
You might also check to see if TE position can get it. A TE's OOP at FB isn't that terrible. HB it'd be worse. Also remember the worse the OOP then the less effective all things dot-wise can be. So, at some point, even if you can get an O-lineman with Power Through, his OOP might just be so bad he sucks no matter how you do it. Personally I'd probably go with FB if they can, indeed, be made heavier than a HB. Could run out of HB or FB slot with no, or very little, OOP.

Thanks Theo. Good thinking.
Can someone with a real level dlinemen confirm if I can buy CEQ and manually buy AE in power thru to get 6 + 4 = 10?
Fwiw plan is return specialist. No OOP penalty! *taps head*

I must be really fucking bored...
So, you can't buy it, at all, even unchecking the "show only recommended" box, on equipment for any lineman (C, G, T, DT, DE), it's just not there in the list to buy. So, Ryan was right way back at the beginning, the blocking TE would be the heaviest dot that you could get Power Through on.
Edit: Or, to be precise and exactly correct, apparently, any TE archetype except Receiving TE can go up to 280 pounds, those would be the heaviest.

Appreciated on all the research guys! Friggin bort doesn't let me see anything with L16 dots...
KR TE it is. Lock it in!

Ok. So I get it now but wanted to let you know that I already tried several alternate Returner types. actually thinking such as you did... trying to get advantages here and there. The best I was able to come up with was a max weight PHB. Why that instead of heavier TE? SA's. PHB already comes with necessary SA's... which cost extra for TE. Weight does help but you'll never be fast enough to outrun KO coverage dots so you will NEED, badly, all the tricks to keep him upright and running. Jump is one. Hurdle is another. Why? Because most of your tackles will come from the behind. Balance is also good (when getting gang tackled). Also make him max short (think bowling ball). Agility helps with avoid tackle. Good luck!
