If I remember correctly this PHB I'm building is the 1st one in well over a decade... if not even more years. I think the last one I built was for Peewee leagues back when I started GLB. Hell... I might've never built one... lord knows. Can't remember that far back.
So... the question.
Confidence is one of the 4 major skills. So just how important is it and what number should I be shooting for? Build is a Hurdle type so, right now, doing Jumping, Speed, Agility, and Carrying. Stopped Strength training when it hit 90-something a while back. Dot is level 49. Everything looks pretty good and he's doing fine but I have yet to work on Confidence and Vision so that's next up pretty soon. I have Vision slated to replace Jumping once I get jumping to my number (soon). Reckon Vision to around 1st cap? But then need to consider Confidence and is 40 enough or should I aim higher... maybe even swap Vision for Confidence so I can get Con higher? You guys are the pros here... any and all info/help appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Skip vision all together and I think 40 confidence is just fine

Not exactly the target for this thread but fwiw... Vision and Confidence will grow to 28+ on their own so there's no need to train them. If you believe in SYM, then remember it has a 40 Vision prereq. 40 Con for OTK.

Eh... my primary skills are pretty much on target and already being trained though multi-training (at least until age 170). So this is the time I start running fringe skills through the open slot and was just curious as to end numbers (for vision and confidence). Thanks to you and Ryan I can set the bar low for those two skills and, likely run something else through for now... then work on those once I switch over to light training for BT's... and that was basically the answer I was shooting for... what to work on now and later. Thanks guys.

I was told that, if doing Hurdle, then 60's jump... but if doing Power Through then more strength and less jumping needed. Is that correct?

Ah... sorry. It wasn't an option when I started. We always build 2 PHB's. Someone else is doing the PT... I'm doing the Hurdle.

that's not really good roster planning by the team tbh

Yh, I don't really get why you would do 2 separate pHBs for this

I suspect it's where the emphasis is put (in the build) rather than not having access to both SA's. I mean, my PHB will have PT but the build will concentrate on Hurdle 1st and take that to it's max end (10 in the SA, 60+ in jumping). I suspect the PT build will end with more strength than mine... but less jumping. How much more and less I won't know until I see the end results of both builds. As I said... 1st PHB I've built since my Peewee days so... take things here with a grain of salt. I'm just following the end build guide as best I can.

Both should be built the same. Power through and hurdle. Both can easily hit 10.

What’re you going to do? Pump strength to 106 and just say fuck hurdle? Those 3 extra points in strength are worthless.
